I organized a work outing and we went to go see Julie do stand up. We were rolling, crying laughing, stomachs hurt. My boss grabbed me and said she was gonna piss herself she was laughing so hard. There was fear in eyes. I had to help her. It was phenomenal!!! And all of us were closer after that. Julie is fn hilarious!!!

@@deegee6315 yes pretty much what she said, woman aren't equal basically but from my memory as I watched it days ago I'm sure she did say women cant drive, but I've never been so you would know better than me. They do say there are alot of misconceptions. Although I am guessing when I say this but I am sure all the wealthy foreign people can do more than the normal day to day woman who is actually from that country, but again I am presuming lol.

I love love Julie! Such a delight. I feel terrible for Pierce Brosnan‘s wife, because we don’t have the time to list all of the Not skinny men in Hollywood who are with gorgeous supermodel women. But everybody loses their marbles when a conventionally attractive man is with a woman who isn’t a size 2. I recently ended an engagement because my fiancé told me that I needed to have weight loss surgery (which I don’t, not that it matters but I don’t. I am getting healthier for the sake of health, but not a need to have surgery.) so I can totally believe that people suggested that, as if it’s not incredibly hurtful and also as if surgery is just such an easy thing. I’ve talked to many people who have had bariatric surgery and it is anything but a walk in the park.

Erika’s situation differs from the typical “white collar crime husband” who is guilty. Usually, the wife is not to blame. However, if restitution is granted, then the courts are allowed to go after any assets that were purchased using the stolen money. This could me a mistresses’ house, or a pair of eelatrings. This is typical.
However, in Erika’s case there may be some accountability on her part because she was on the show, the people saw her during those years when they should have received money & she is spending it. To file charges against her means that they believe that Erika knew this money she was spending on the show belonged to them. This makes me believe that Erika attended dinners & had conversations or heard conversations between Tom and his clients. This would allow reason for the victims to believe that Erika KNEW they were owed money & was more involved
To say that she knew Tom never paid them is an interesting one. I wonder what evidence they have for that. Perhaps victims contacted Erika personally.
I think that she is not directly guilty but it is difficult to stick up for someone who doubles down on something like earrings. I think most people would gladly give back some earrings to not have to live off the blood money. She is out for number one, it is hard to trust or believe anything she says when she acts like that.

Julie Goldman owes the listeners an apology for disinformation: Women can drive in Dubai and, in fact, the city offers women-only taxis driven by women. Until recently, Saudi Arabia - the UAE's neighbouring country - was the only nation in the world that had placed a ban on women driving. This was lifted in 2018.

And I completely agree with Julie, Lorne Michaels absolutely 1000% knew about it and knows where all the bodies are buried. He’s been in the entertainment industry too long, he has seen a lot of depravity and looked the other way.

Totally agree with Julie about Dubai. I also divorced my husband when he left for a “better” job in Dubai. The day he drove out the garage for the airport it was over. He felt I was making the marginalized treatment of women up or blown out of reality. He then said just because I earned 2 college degrees didn’t make me smart enough to know “my place”. And then said if I didn’t come to visit he wasn’t putting up with my attitude of being better than him and the beautiful country of Dubai. I didn’t even tell him I was done. I moved into my own place. Bought a new phone and computer all new emails and passwords. I was done & don’t feel bad one bit. So no I didn’t watch Dubai; I was busy driving my 🚗
