I’m a fellow 1952 Topps collector and just came across this video in one of my regular searches for more content on my favourite set. Thanks for posting this, you have a beautiful collection.
Lots of great cards Rick! I knew you couldn't resist trying to complete it. You said in your interview with me that you would never complete it but you are getting closer. LOL
you have a really nice looking willie mays, youre almost there with your set. i literally pulled out my 52 binder watching this, there isnt many tubers building the 52 topps set, let alone doing a binder show case, cheers mate! really enjoyed seeing your binder action set of my favorite topps set of all time.
Hi Rick, nice group of 52s. One of those sets where you enjoy the journey because you know it will at the very least a long one. I like that you talk about the players some too. You just casually share observations as you flip through the pages. Vern Stephens is one of my favorite non HOFers from that era. He was an incredible offensive shortstop that doesn’t get the credit when compared to his peers Rizzuto and Reese. Al Dark is another one. Thanks
Iconic set! I love the 1952s!!

Thanks Mikey! I’m halfway there, but 97 of them are high numbers. I don’t think there are many going after the ‘52 Set! Good luck!
Such a great set.
As I recall, you have some pretty special cards from this set!

Terry, if you haven’t read David Halberstam’s Summer of ‘49, I think you would enjoy it! Thank you for your generous support and kind words!
