Its not nowhere its still a place that we dont know about because kitty pets dont believe in starclan but in the books its clear that other cats have different places to go to when they die so scourge could have went somewhere.

This is so creepy! Many seem to interpret this as guilt, but to me, it has a strong feeling of ever growing dread. Like he doesn’t regret what happened, but he still has to watch himself seal his fate. And how he knows how each mistake leads closer to his death and the growing fear of the unknown as he watches himself approach his demise. It’s so eerie and this MAP always freaks me out lol
im pretty sure its guilt and dread he has the good memories of his life but most were bad so he feels guilty for the choices he made which causes dread since these memories repeat over and over again and he has t watch what he'd done and his death over and over gain. u can tell he has fear,guilt and dread and even smiles a bit at one of the good memories he had as a stray, look at his facial expression throughout the map all of those emotions are there
this map honestly has some pretty terrifying undertones to it.
Take the scene where scourge was in the water. Dozens of faceless paws, pushing him deeper into the depths, more of their hollow bodies scraping along his skinny body and exposing his insides.
The paws are faceless because scourge, in his life, never really cared about who he was killing. He probably never remembered any of their faces.

It was a personal choice to make a more cohesive color to the red blood, I think. I love that collar color for this MAP, honestly.
It looked like a blue/blueish green in the video to me, or something like that, but yeah it's really purple.

So for people who haven't read the manga The Rise Of Scourge this is basically how it goes.
So Scourage - or Tiny was a kittypet, bullied for being small from his littermates. Skip afew meaninglessness pages and Tiny escapes from his Twoleg nest. He found the forest and got cornered by Tigerpaw, Thistleclaw and Bluefur. Thistleclaw asks his apprentice-, Tigerpaw, what he should do about an intruder and he replies 'give him a lesson he' ll never forget-' and thats what he does. Tiny was about to be killed before Bluefur stopped him. He was badly injured but he found his way to the Twoleg place where loners and rouges live. An old she cat shares his prey with him and he was looking for her the next day - but he insted found a dog. The dog was old and he picked up a tooth that had fallen out of the dogs mouth to try and get his collar off cause the other cats were calling him a kittypet. Insted of the tooth getting the collar off it got stuck. He found sone cats sharing food and they asked where he got the tooth from. He made up a lie he had killed the dog and took its tooth as a trophy. The next day came and two cats - Bone and Brick asked if it was true he killed dogs. Tiny said yes and they led him to a place with a giant dog stealing the food from the other cats. The dog was scared of his shadow when he came down to fight and he was seen as a hero
and was asked what his name was - he said Scourge not Tiny.He was seen as the leader of thkse cats and came to him about problems. Bones problem was a group of rouges ordering cats around. The leader of the rouges said 'I' ll talk to the leader of this bunch and nobody else'
As leader Scourge said 'Then talk to me'
The rouges didnt belive him and one tried to make him his servent so Scourge killed him. The rouges left. Afew moons passed and Tigerstar came to propose his plan to take over the Clans. He remembered Tigerstar as the cat who attacked him. He went to the forest and insted of fighting for Tigerstar Scourge killed Tigerstar by slashing his stomach open.

I’m just... wow... This is so insanely dark but also insanely amazing... :0 The concept is the absolute best and goshhhh you can really feel the guilt driving Scourge insane. It seems that most of his life he was basically heartless, but maybe he just burrowed all the guilt deep inside. Again this is INSANE and the animators did such an amazing job. Just wow....

If you think about it, Pinestar is Crystal's friend, Crystal being Jake's mother. Pinestar had Tigerstar, and Jake had Scourge and Firestar.

Okay I don't care if Scourge doesn't have a purple collar, this Map is amazing.
This does provide a good headcanon/theory to what happens when an evil cat that doesn't believe in StarClan dies. Just seeing the horror on Scourge's face as he relives his life. And the regret he feels about his decisions as they claw at him like razors.

Scourge was my favorite from the moment he appeared in the book. So I am in love with all the Scourge animations at the moment.
But this is one of my favorites, the music gives it an edgy but awesome vibe.

Scourge was a very big misfit in the books. It was his past that had twisted his behavior. He regretted being evil. But regretting what he had done when he was alive just made him feel way WAY worse about his past. The sad part is, is that he really was not payed attention to. But you people had the tension to listen to this poor boy! The song blends in with everything the animations show. This map left me in sudden tears, and I’m just speechless right now! Thank you everybody! I love this map. You all did so incredibly well.

My conspiracy:
Based off this map, I think Scourge is sent to this unknown place that even Star Clan doesn’t know about. Since Scourge killed numerous of innocent cats, he is sent to his place to teach him about what he has become. A monster. As he goes all throughout his life and his past memories, as he finishes all the way until his death, this unknown place makes him feel the pain he caused lots of cats to feel. I believe Scourge was an innocent cat too... or could have been. The whole cause of this to happen is his siblings. Yes, his siblings. As Ruby and Sox continues to tease and bully him, he feels like he is an outcast and runs away. As he becomes older, he keeps remembering all the past memories of Ruby and Sox bullying and teasing him, making him become angrier and angrier by the second. Since he knew he couldn’t do anything to defend himself, he had to sit through and take it, wishing he could fight back. Now that he is older and knows how to fight, for living outside and in the forest and other places, he learns along the way how to fight and become stronger. Once Ruby and Sox are abandoned by their owner, they come scrambling to Scourge for shelter. Of course, Scourge says no. This was his revenge (I think???). He wanted him to learn the same way he did when he had to fend for himself. Still remembering the bullying and teasing, even though he already got his revenge, he already had created a new clan, Blood Clan. To Scourge, it felt good to be in power. He couldn’t leave his clan now. The bullying and teasing kept haunting Scourge and wouldn’t stop. He knew there was no way to stop it. This is why he says “You expect the ice to melt, but it just gets colder and colder.” Scourge kept taking his anger out on other cats and that’s why he wouldn’t stop killing. Now in the unknown place, Scourge understands his wrongs and wants to make them right. But he could never find a way out no matter how hard he tried. He wanted another chance at life. His soul is trapped in this unknown place I would like to call, The Darkest of Cats. It makes total sense and let me tell you why. The darkest in the name, Darkest of Cats, resembles the black and white world it is. The whole meaning of the name, is for the cats who’s heart was black and grey. They could never escape to their natural color ever again. Natural color meaning the good in their heart. Black and white meaning their heart was a heart of stone or a huge block of ice. The cats who had this problem could never escape it. Everything just gets worse
In my opinion, I think Scourge is an innocent cat. Well, that’s my conspiracy! Hope you understand and like how I thought!
In as much as I love everything about Scourge and this conspiracy, I am afraid to say but he isn't innocent just because of using the justification of a haunting memory//ies. Even these types of memories can be let go at a certain degree, and he never let go of the memories that made him who he is (those of Ruby and Sox and that with Tigerstar). He could have let them go, but he chose to keep them, and therefore becomes what those memories make of him in the end: a monster.
I believe he was innocent. It was a real tragedy that he had gone to be such a, "monster". He had good in him, but it was lost by what he had been through.

HOLY god this map is wonderful! Everyone did an amazing job portraying trauma in Scourge's life, most map's on Scourge have been about him being a villain and not the reason why he became so corrupted, I really appreciate how this map was about that. I have been waiting for this for so long and I couldn't be happier seeing it complete!
I can imagine him thinking "Where did I go wrong?" right before his death. And then he dies and this happens.
Alright, time to talk about my opinion on another warrior cats villain even tho no gives a fuck
Alright, we get it. Scourge is the definition of "villains aren't born, they're made." But do you ever think why he followed the blood soaked path he did? He didn't believe in starclan, but he realized something supernatural was happening when firestar came back, very much alive. My theory is that he followed the path he did because he loved the attention and basic worship he received. He knew the cats feared him instead of actually liking him, but he didn't care. He was an attention seeker, wanting the attention he was deprived of as a kitten. His life was affected by his siblings bullying and hatred, all because of his size.
What I mean is, that one small genetical disorder caused a domino effect of horrible things.
He was born small, because of what I assume is a kind of dwarfism but with cats. It lead to his siblings bullying. His siblings bullying lead to him running away. His running away made him clash with tiger paws attack. Tiger paws attack released an anger built up from his siblings mistreatment. The anger was released when he killed a shadowclan warrior to defend a she-cat, because brokenstars taunting was similar to that of his siblings. The anger inside him made him enjoy killing that cat. The enjoyment of killing led him to more killing. That killing led to firestar killing him. It's all a sick idea of the domino effect.
I believe scourge wasn't truly crazy, but he was on the verge of going insane. The killing was a way to vent out the anger and resentment he felt towards tiger paw and his siblings. The only way to stop him from killing was to kill scourge himself. His emotional and physical trauma only made it worse. Everytime he saw himself in a puddle, i imagine he saw the scars, plus his small size in the reflection of the puddle, it reminded him of the horrific childhood he had. He took his anger out on every cat he killed brutally.
Quite the disturbing effect of the domino effect, but it's the truth.
That's a very good opinion on his character. I'll add that the biggest power of Scourge doesn't come from his strenght, nor the number of allies he has, but from his scary aura and his manipulation. How did a tiny, weak cat kill enemies bigger than him ? Because of that, everyone submitted to him. In the end, he started to believe the lies he crafted, he forgot his past self, when he was fragile. Nothing could be stronger than him, right ? That arrogant sense of invincibilty caused his doom.
Absolutey genius and beautiful! The ambience of the song went to well to the events, I love the idea of Scourge watching his life after his death. I also like the color of the collar, good color, fits him well as it also isn’t the usual purple or red. Great idea, good transitions, good details to spice it up, everyone did so well with the topic of this M.A.P!

I feel so bad for Scourge, it wasn't his fault in the beginning, if Ruby never told him that "Unwanted kittens get thrown in the river" he would have never left and maybe would have found a home. (If i was in this book I would have) I just feel he needed more support and people who cared about him, I know his mother did, but he had 2 other voices telling him he was basically nothing. I can't blame Scourge for anything he did (my opinion) I feel bad about what happened to him. And once he had followers in the alley, he felt like he had power like he never had, and he just kept gaining followers. But once he had to fight Firestar, he did infact kill him first, but it didn't count because Firestar had 9 lives, (if I saw a cat come back from the dead, I would probably be in shock like Scourge) Scourge ended up in a shock do to Firestar being revived, which caused him to be off guard for a moment, then attack again. I personally felt bad for him, he never got to live a life without pain and hurtful words, and another thing that bugs me is that I don't know where he went after he died, but maybe he got to see and watch his past life. Sorry, this is a lot, but I had to get it off my chest. (There is most likely even more rant but I can't think of it now Edit: Holy I just realized how long this is)
Honestly same. I really wish we got a spinoff book with scourge as a ghost. Maybe forming his own version of starclan. Reforming bloodclan as a ghost. Idk maybe reincrnating himself like they did with cinderpelt.

To be honest, I really really feel bad for scourge. He could’ve had a better life if someone just showed him. I feel like he deserves to be in scar man even though he doesn’t beleive it. This map almost made me cry. He’s my favorite character and I just feel so bad...

As a long-year Scourge fan (for 7 years now) I find this absolutely amazing and I feel so grateful for the fact that Scourge WASN'T depicted as truly evil in this video.
It showed how he only started as an innocent kit who wanted to prove himself but became corrupt and prideful as his life progressed till its end. This is, I believe, the way people should depict Scourge.
He wanted to rise up for himself but never was taught the right way to do it, instead he learned, through survival and dominance, that he had to claw his way up to the top, even if it meant being viewed as vicious and cold by his clan. And this neatly scripted video went on to show how he got to view his life and how it started as pitiful, to successful, to brutal and bloody till his eventual death. He was able to realize how corrupt he'd become and how regretful he felt when he didn't give himself the chance for a change.
It shows that people aren't born evil and that if they do turn, they aren't always proud of their actions. Some of them act "evil" as a means of survival and probably don't even have a choice simply because they live and have lived in a harsh environment and never had the help they needed in their dire times. I can relate to some degree, I've been through many years of bullying and whenever I stood up for myself, I always got put back down again simply because I didn't defend myself the "right" way. No, I hardly ever resorted to violence but even then the authorities went against me. And when I found Scourge's manga, I felt like I could heavily relate to his point of view.
To finally see that there are many talented animators sharing a Scourge animation the way he truly lived and wasn't completely antagonized in a single video fills me with appreciation.

@@RavenWolfferyn They just don't see his other side. They don't see that he doesn't want to be what he is...that he doesn't want to be a killer, a murder. That on the outside he is emotionless and he doesn't need help but inside he is like a frightened little kitten who has nowhere to run and has no one to hide. Sadly, others don't see it.

I know It's all about Cats Warriors (?), but this video reminds me about Varjak Paw. It was one of my fav book serie when I was a kid. Design of the books are a masterpiece.

This has to be the best Scourge Map I've ever seen!! It nearly gave me chills in the end, it was so eerie! The colors in this map were well-chosen, too, really gives off that creepy feeling. It shows what a great character Scourge was (as in, he was an awesome villian)! I will watch this again and again now, because it's so well done! Good job to all the animators ^^

Oh my Godddd this is absolutely one of my favourite maps to date. The whole idea of it is just brilliant and I love the spooky atmosphere, from the zombie like cats that he's killed to the music chosen for the credits! Excellent work to everyone involved!!

it gets a like from me and I think everyone did great, the fact it took two years shows.
Scourge's greatest regret was probably either leaving his kittypet home or listening to Tigerstar. He could've had everything he wanted if he just stayed away from the forest cats like his mother warned him about so long ago.

My friend showed me this the other day, and I loved it.
It's amazingly done, and though I can't even hear the music (I have sound off) the animation itself tells all the story of Scourge perfectly. It's cool to see Scourge's afterlife as we don't really know much about the kittypet/rogue/bloodclan afterlife.
This was a brilliant MAP. I heard it took 2 years but it was deffinetly worth the wait and troubles for this masterpiece.
