I love the actual theme of GTA V, but however, this theme really gives more nostalgia, like that time of hype and waiting between Nov 2011 and Sept 2013, when the game came out. It is a good song and matches perfectly that awaiting of the game, while giving it an awesome atmosphere.

Sounds too similar to GTA IV with the stringed instrument and the drum pattern. Maybe this was a left over from gta IV that he re tooled and submitted for gta V
This would have been better than the actual song they went with. Has a much more epic and serious vibe than the tangerine dream song, but it also still fits with the LA vibes
