1. My company runs PC400 and 300s in tandem with 740 and A40Ds (HM400 is unreliable according to the guys) I love Komatsu but in terms of handling, CAT takes the W 2. Boots off the cab. No questions asked.
The Komatsu hm 400 is the way better rock truck in my opinion over cat ...switching between the 2 the difference speaks for itself . All the operators on our site fight over the Komatsu rock trucks lol
Another amazing video Aaron. I apriciate you and your crews particular attention to what us as operators and people in the industry want to see! Always cunning edge and a step ahed with technology and the tools to match all while giving the same amount of respect to the older tools and technology is why I love the videos and keep coming back! Keep it up man I have my whole crew and lead hand addicted to the channel!
This is what I love to watch right here! I can watch it over and over and still not be bored! Thanks for making this series and videos! Great job and keep up the great work!
I'm surprised they aren't putting the trucks at the bottom of the cut. The Cat is fast, but it would be much faster if he didnt have to boom up to the truck every cycle.
I’ve learned when they’re doing something that doesn’t make sense at face value, there’s usually a good reason for it. The material below is soft so the trucks would get stuck
@@AaronWitt That would explain it. It looks like a clay sand mix, and I've seen many dumpers have to get pulled from the same material after getting stuck bumper high.
@@ericnewton8292 I would split the bench. Take a couple of meters running the trucks below, then topload the last 3' or 4' (1m or so). 2 cuts still be quicker and more economical than toploading 3-4m.
1. What machine do you run in operations similar to this?
2. Be honest, boots on or off in the cab?

I make these machines (: I am a production Assembly For CAT.
I operate a Hitachi 3600 here in Australia loading komatsu HD1500 and boots off all day long!!

Hell yeah not too far from my family's place local 150 brothers and sisters getting it done!
Close to airport that's why equipment has flags on them? My guess
Yep
These videos are home runs
Glad you like them
Great video 👍✌
What’s up with the flags on the machines?
For work by an airport
Why aren't trucks on bottom ?
I do around 1:15 per truck in indy.
Local 103
Aaron do you find yourself up in Louisville very often?
❤❤❤
Sooo... is it a 352 a 345 or a 349 I'm a bit confused
I’m confused too
👍👍👍😎
Trucks for on bottom, safes at least 10 seconds
Not when it’s too soft. They get bogged down
That's true also, didn't seem to wet.
Trucks at the bottom will mess the cut up
