I had a plan a long time ago to get a White Bellied Caique and name it mango. Still don't have one yet since i'm a broke kid who's parents won't let them get a bird til' next year, I have to pay for everything though so probably won't get one for a while.
Wow, you have both species of Caiques. This is the same pair I wanted to get but people have be saying get 2 WB or 2 BH, but don't mix. What's your experience with your pair? Are they cage mates? Did you get them together? Are they flighted. Please make more videos.
Hi, they where raised together, not related but hand fed together. I did buy them together. I gave them to a friend. But I can say they loved each other very much and got along great :D
After patiently waiting for the summer, my breeder has 2 clutches hatched now, BH and WB. I still want one of each. Any suggestions as to 2 girls or 2 boys?
Not sure, Mine turned out to be be male and female. But I didn't have them sexed. I just wanted my love doll's. My boy and girl, (Pepper and Mango) Loved each other though. So my advice would be male and female seeing I know they loved each other. But maybe talk to breeder, maybe they would know if 2 males or 2 females would get along. Warning, Caciques don't usually like other parrots other than than there own breed. This rang true with mine.
Mango needs a beak trim asap!
This is impressive for a caique to talk so well they usually pretty good only at whistling

Hi, I found a local breeder. I'd get online, and search parrot breeders in your area :) That is how I found them :D

Peel parrot beak plz then I'll put like otherwise disliked. They struggle eating if not
