Depending on the state you live in you should wait till you hit a certain threshold of money you make consistently with your business. With my first business I went and did all of that because I was so excited and then my tax preparer let me know that California charges $800 a year just to have your business registered and it was easier for me to just claim my business on a schedule C under my ssn for taxes. Just wanted to share some info that I learned from my tax preparer 😊

We just got a whataburger in a town we live close to in central Arkansas, and I was so excited!!!
