Datanglah ke Indonesia kakak Abang 🥰🇮🇩👍🏾
10:04: those kids aren't locals. Their parents came from the Philippines.
Even without the device, most locals in Borneo can understand & reply u guys in English fluently.
I don't think so..
not all, but most. totally agree with you! because i live here. but they just want to test the translation device.
they want to test the device.
@@herihazrilwhat? KK is a tourist city the ppl can speak English fluently not all but almost all of us can speak english
I think that device would be especially useful in countries where English is not spoken at all by the locals (example: Japan). In Malaysia, for the most part, most locals can understand and speak English (especially in metropolitan areas like KK and KL!)
😅 Most of Sabahan & Sarawakian can speak and understand English well especially in big cities. In the bsrber shop, your translation device somehow translate 'longer' to 'lebih lama' instead of 'lebih panjang', it's gave different meaning😅 Anyhow have fun in Sabah, also called by~ Land below the wind
i believe mario just testing out the device just to show that it works to the audience
The translator device even more confusing 😅
Dear Mario and Olivia Im also surprised you guys are in Borneo now. I thought both of you still in perak 😅.
Don't forget to explore the Kaamatan Festival 2023. It is happening now all over the state of Sabah until end of May 2023. Full support always 👍🏻
I second this. This is the Annual Harvest Festival aka Kaamatan. The biggest celebration will be on May 30-31 at KDCA in KK. However, you may also attend the mini Kaamatan festivals at various areas too. It is a must-see for foreigners!
Thanks!
Tips to see the best sunset, check back local's Islamic prayer time :- Maghrib. And come at least 20 minute before the time. And the best beach to swim is on those island😊
2 must visit places in Sabah...Kundansang & Islands near semporna
Sabah secretly has the best beach scenery, best and cheap seafood, the nature surrounding the state is also worth visiting.
Selamat datang ke kota Kinabalu Sabah ' next trip kena jln2 ke gunung Kinabalu . 👍😋 Bagus pemandangan mount Kinabalu.
2:21 If I heard correctly the translator said in malay "what do we need to do to be violent here". I swear that's what I heard 😅😅
Fresh cut bro!
Funny translation at 2:25, it says "what is there to do for terrorists here" 😂😂😂😂 hahaha
Like Peninsular Malaysia, most beautiful tropical islands at Sabah are at the east coast, like islands near Semporna..for me the attractions near Kota Kinabalu are the mountains : Ranau, Kundasang, Mount Kinabalu ⛰
You guys should go to LIMA(Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace) at Langkawi this 23-27 May
Biasanya..waktu petang /sunset baru banyak orang di pantai..btw there's a night market by the beach. As a local, we don't really eat at the food stall near the waterfront, the price is over the moon and the cleanliness is 😅. the kid's you met who asked for money.. they're not locals. There's a lot of immigrants in KK, especially the spot you went to here. I hope you'll stay for KAamatan festival. Small festivals held in every village and district, and the peak will be held in KDCA Penampang on 30 &31st of May.
You need a local guide to take you around or you'll stuck to the typical tourist spot and spent a lot of money.
U can go to pulau manukan, Pulau memutik from jeselton point near the city
enjoy the Harvest Festival vibes in Sabah. I live in the country side of sabah
Thank u for this wonderful video n for also showing your day in KK, Sabah.
Funny translation at 2:25, it says "what is there to do for terrorists here" 😂😂😂😂 hahaha
@@muhammad11ali11 Hahaha. 😁
Thanks for watching 🙂
@@TravelsonToast 😀
weekend always full at the beach
Hello i'm from Pontianak city, West Borneo, anyway I really enjoy your videos about Malaysia, and i'm also glad that Malaysia have it's own way in attracting tourist, just like other countries own ways, and anyway although i already went to Malaysia, atleast more than once, i still did not travel to other places (other Than Kuching, Seremban, KL, Putrajaya and Klang Valley) in Malaysia, oh anyway Sabah is indeed attractive and if i have time, i really want to visit Sabah region, to enjoy the best experiences at The Land below the Wind.👍🇲🇾
What a cute, fun device! Super helpful for places where few people speak English.
Why that device sound funny😂😂
I think the device might usefull in indonesia but not here..
Yesss welcome to my hometown guys! Hope y'all had a good time here ❤
I'm surprised you both came to Kota Kinabalu Finally you reach there it's my home town love Sabah
Wow wow wow! The wildest adventure couple does it again! Been there done that, but without the swagger and poise..... enjoy!!😊
I think better use that translator device at other countries.. English is Malaysian second language 😅
❤ I M so happy , cause you guys finally made it through this weekend 😊 next one I will suggest and support for BALI 🎉🎉🎉😊😊❤ have a great time guys .
Tanjung aru beach. They try cleaning up but sometimes sea trash is there
Sabah offers many world-class tourist spots, such as Kundasang, Kinabalu Mountain, Sipadan Island, Padas River White Water Rafting, Kapalai Island, Manukan Island, Danum Valley, Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center, Mabul Island and many more. for me as malaysians, Sabah is one of the best tourism state of Malaysia. but Sabah also offers many interesting places for travelers like you. welcome to the state below the wind.
Please make your way to the ultimate island hopping off Semporna! Meanwhile you can try the entry level of island hopping in KK.
Welcome. Don't forget to join the Kaamatan festival ❤
Welcome to Kota Kinabalu..next Sarawak bro..
10 out of 10 for your haircut 👍😁🇲🇾
You should visit our island in Semporna... there are so many beautiful island in Sabah
actually in Malaysia you no need the translator device, because most of Malaysian know how to speak English... anyway love your video..😍
1:00 not that accurate. probably the barber already understood when you said it in English.
"longer" can mean both as in distance or time.
the gadget somehow translated as "lebih lama" or longer time 😁
Funny translation at 2:25, it says "what is there to do for terrorists here" 😂😂😂😂 hahaha
Can't wait to take you around in Kuching!
Sabah is a big state and so is Sarawak.. You need a long enough time at least 1 month (actually not enough) to feel the different conditions/atmosphere in these two states..
Visit to semporna if u want to experience the island life
Welcome
I'm from KK and just a few points:
1. Stay away from those kids they have begging groups to harras tourists
2. Beware of the seafood tourist trap
3. Most local speak english so you dont need a translator
Lastly, thank you for highlighting my city and being honest about the rubbish. We have a lot more to improve
Awesome looking haircut,,,, cool translator
yesss yesss...yehaaaa ..u come here in sabah at last...better u stay untill 01-06-2023..because we have a harvest festival
I agreed! KK is the best easy to get around by walking
Not many tourists from the west in Malaysia even thought its in the top 15 the most visited countries in the world. Most of the tourists are from asia.
wow the barber added 10 years to your life, Mario. You look way younger now!
Welcome to KK guys...btw u look 10 years more younger now..hv a nice day at KK .
Come to south borneo, floating market
5:55 be careful with the quiet beach because there may be crocodiles
Fuiyoh! You guys are in KK! Welcome!
LOVE UR VLOG GUYS WATCHING FROM DAVAO PHILIPPINES 😍😍😍🙋♂️
Welcome to Borneo.✌️😎✌️❤️🇲🇾
5:33 That beach will usually be full of people in the evening till night time. Most of the locals will go there to enjoy the sunset & food (from the night market, which is open every night).
We went again one evening and it was packed!
Some food keywords here.... Mee Tuaran, Sinalau Bakas, Sang Nyuk Mee, Wor Tek .....good luck
Welcome to beautiful Sabah Borneo
Land below the wind
Great to know that you both are in Sabah and having a awesome time as well.
Yahoooo welcome to Sabah!
Thanks!
Go to Samporna for first class beaches...you will be amazed..
Welcome to my state Sabah...
Hey there. Come to Kuching, Sarawak next month. We will be celebrating a Rainforest Worlds Music Festival. U're gonna enjoy it😁
Sounds great, wish we could!
@@TravelsonToastcome on gawai festival.
Quite accurate the translator, power la
The nice beaches are at the islands nearby Kota kinabalu. Its just a 20 mins boat ride
Hello Mario & Olivia, watching from Philippines 🇵🇭 💕
Hello, thanks!
We can enjoy seeing the trip at Borneo. So good the ⛱️ beach
0:40 I think he just heard u speak english and already understood what u wanted. Honestly, I'm a malay and got confused with what that "translator" was saying 😅😅
The most beautiful beaches are in the eastern side in Semporna
Vist Labuan. Beautiful beaches and duty free too.
Welcome to Sabah 👍
Thank you 🙏
Mate , you need to go to layang layang beach, sibuan , mataking ,sipadan, and many more ...
One of ten best sunset view. Really enjoy it.
Wahhhh you look handsome after the haircut
Dude.. "C-" for the translator device, the translation was hilarious 😂
Hola from BCN, Spain. Made in Borneo and currently in Espanya. Have a pleasant stay in KK.
Hola! Thanks 👍
u should go to sarawak too…
To check out the beautiful beaches in sabah, you guys should try head to Semporna. Sure no disappointment
You need to try Tuaran coconut pudding. They’re good.
Wow my home town sabahan❤
Go to semporna sabah ,they blue and green beach island.
I'm Sabahan and we all grown up watching sunset at the beaches. I strongly recommend you to try entering the Shangrila Resort and also Sutera Harbour to watch the sunsets and enjoy the seabreeze! It's super relaxing and the vibe is very chill there! You can enter for free even if you're not the residents there!
Also most of the Sabahan normally can speak English fluently, don't trust the others who said Sabahan can't speak in English lol.
Also the Tanjung Aru beach you guys went, it's always crowded like crazy especially during the sunsets. The reason why it was so quiet XD was probably because of the night market behind. Tanjung Aru is also a very large (long) beach and sometimes people somehow just gather on the same spot, while the other parts of the beach will be empty.
I personally recommend you guys to watch sunsets at the Shangrila or Sutera Harbour. Tanjung Aru is nice, too, but sometimes it's way too crowded and you can see trash on the beach :\
U should go to tanjung lipat all the way to one borneo. Good view city. U can go to kokol Hill too
You both are at my home town..enjoy ur time here ya👍
Thank you!
The translator was saying utter bullshit to the barber lmao😂😂😂 he's just being polite
That's a pretty handy device, I need it to translate malay to chinese and impress my local grocery shops 😂
Owh come on guys...only use the device when locals dont understand you
Just take the boat to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Day trip from Jesselton Pier or the one from Sutera Harbour if I remember correctly.
Yeah --- you are in a completely, virgin NEW EARTH ZONE at last!!!
Your Borneo thumbnail is way-gorgeous, next level --- the best ever --- boom.
Your walkabout and friendly patter in a new place are always delightful.
When you get more into the countryside --- away from the airport --- send up your awesome magic-bird drone.
SIDENOTE --- I am a septuagenarian gonewild (76).
My only visit to Malaysian Borneo --- was as an American hippie freak --- 53 years ago in 1971
--- when I was 24 years old.
On this SE Asian trip --- my travel partner was a SEXY, fun, rich chick from Chicago (age 20) --- who featured a thick wad of Travelers' Cheques --- that would choke a Zimbabwe wildebeest.
As always, peace and love from your Patreon --- the Earthpeople of Hawaii
borneo was like a combination of bali and maldives but more cheaper
Next trip travel to Kuching n to Rumah panjang batang Ai homestay ..
please came to skatepark putrajaya
...
Hello sir❤️
After explore every place you go at Sabah Borneo and I'm suggests sir need go and explore at Sarawak Borneo 👍🤝..
Wah 😅 welcome to my hometown.....
Haha the language device cracks me up
Not because of the translator device its because he can actually understang english😅
Those litterbug and those who 'lazy' to use their signal light/ turn light are so annoying🫤
welcome to my hometown... awesome thumbnails btw...
Thanks man!
Hey guys we’re from
Belgium and currently in Kk too…wanna meet up?
i suggest dont swim anywhere near KK. until the saltese crocs captured. for your safety guys
Frm KK...go to Ranau or Kundasang...n go to Dairy Farm 👍💃🇲🇾
10:28 mario hayoo 🤣
Wow, that's a cool looking haircut, although the translation was a bit on the general side. 😂
Tourist jadi terrorist lak 😂😂
I hate when i see people living their trash everywhere . Wonder why they don t have rules to restrict this behaviour . Been traveling to places invaded by trash , plastics , cigarettes and we always had the reflexes to clean the all beach to help to keep it natural vibe and nice, but this need to be done weekly all year around . I wish locals be more educated by the government and trained to maintain their beautiful locations. It s a big plus for them to make good business and attract cool travelers .
