Just bought this car a week ago. Super happy and it’s so smooth. I wanted something reliable and not too big or too small that would be good on gas. This is perfect for me. I love the media features and Apple CarPlay options. I like the features. I like the color I chose Celestine Gray so light metallic blue. Inside it’s white and black and seats are dark blueish. I’m in love.

I bought this same Toyota Corolla 2021 SE model with the same Blizzard Pearl white color a few days ago. I used to own a 2019 Toyota Corolla LE and it also was a wonderful car until a car accident which totaled my car. This is the 3rd Toyota Corolla that I’ve own that never had any mechanical issues. All I can say is I love Toyota vehicle and I’ll never own any other brand.

I just got this car today but grey :) I love it
Steering wheel cover on the SE trim is real leather btw...would have been nice to go over some of the settings listed in more detail I think. Very very aggressive style for a corolla and LOTS of extras... so I also bought this 2021SE and I think a lot of car for the money now days. First tank of fuel goes a long way...nice car for sure. 2.0l engine gets the best MPG and has the most power, not bad at all. Needless to say Toyota reliability and BIG resale value too👍

Just got a Black SE for my Daughter about 2 weeks ago and I'm soo happy with it . Almost bought 2017 Honda Civic But I realized it was beat to hell. Tires were shot , Rotors were channeled ,and the silicone trim around the windows was dry rotted and crumbling. Also the screen inside on the Honda was tiny. Like the size of a cigarette pack .Toyota screen is huge! The SE feels more powerful than the Civic EX and drives much better. Very happy with my purchase. I always felt Toyota was behind Honda in styling but this car changed my perception.
Can anyone help me? How do I turn off the eco mode? I was able to see the digital speedometer earlier but now it just shows the eco mode with green bar

Great car but... Way too much front overhang is vulnerable to damage. I know. I had one for 3000 miles as a rental. Not damaged by me. Second. The front of the dash is still too high. Tends to obstruct the lower corner view of windshield. Like when you make a right turn in some neighborhood. You cant see the right side curb, especially at night.. I am already 6ft 1inch tall. So this shouldnt even be a problem. But it is.

@@alvinsimba734 For starters, lots of hard touch plastics, manual seat adjustment, no usb or usbc outlets for rear passengers, key ignition
@@alvinsimba734 Cheap plastic interior, lots of exposed metal in trunk area, cramped rear seat opening, no rear AC vents. Maybe a different trim level would be better.

Not too bad! Very complete. But you forgot to show how the arm rest slides forward, a very important consideration for the driver since in it's initial position, it isn't forward enough to rest your arm.
Also-- vacuum the carpet next time. The sand/dirt that shows up in the video detracts from a new clean look. Lose the hairy leg video portion or wear long pants. When you showed the emergency light, you glazed over it (its called, "flashers" so people can relate).
26:12 You can see me try to slide the armrest forward before lifting it and it doesn't move forward. Also I identified the four way "flashers" at 22:35
on the SE, the armrest is stationary.

I’m confused because every other 2021 Corolla se review I’ve seen shows the car has a start/stop engine and smart key? Why does this have normal key ignition?
Smart key is part of an optional package. I show the window sticker at the end.
@@MikesCarInfo that’s weird because on Toyota.ca (Canadian website), under the se cvt trim level, it says that push button start is included (this wasn’t the se upgrade, nightshade or apex edition btw)

I drove a 1999 corolla in 1999 for 8 years, it was the most boring thing I ever been near in my life. Is the modern corolla as boring or has it changed? I am looking at ordering a new corolla se
The Corolla is intended to be entry level basic transportation. If the older one was boring to you then this one will be boring as well. Toyota in general is not really intended to be exciting.
I don’t care for those 18 inch rims. Massive wheel/tire damage not if but when.
Sadly, Toyota cut some lame corners on the SE to maximize profits. I had to order the overpriced (versus cost to produce) XSE-trim only OEM molded fiber insulator dampener piece that mounts under front hood, which should have been standard equipment & was standard equipment back on my 2015 Yaris SE 5-MT hatchback. It helps muffle the whiny, annoying 2.0L engine noise (especially under load) & makes it more subtle, deep, & robust like it should be. It also doesn't have some of the XSE-trim only basic under-body dampener panels that help reduce road/tire noise (which there is plenty of on those 18" wheels & 40 profile tires when you are driving on anything but good, smooth roads). It's still a nice car, but Toyota could have spent an extra few dollars on the SE to keep some of the core comforts in place better.
