For those unfamiliar with the Indian names for spices, kasoori methi is dried fenugreek leaves. for a basic meal, this looks like it's a pretty decent feed. You could even stir the seeds into the chickpeas.
Hi Nathan, I've seen you mentioning that it's hard to find new MREs to make new videos, I'd like to see you doing a MRE with grocery store things that you like to eat, if that's possible.
That really looked good!! Thanks for sharing that ! If you like tootsie rolls and dont want to pull out your teeth put them in the MRE heater after you take out the meal. Will be like eating fudge ! Hugs !
Put the tortillas and cheese in with the main meal to soften them both up. Sometimes I even do it with the peanut butter. An old NCO told me to do this back in the day and even taught me to toast that shelf stable bread we used to have over a pot bellied stove.
These meals are awesome Nathan. We both have tried before. The FRH'S are wicked hot, as you well know. Glad you had fun and enjoyed. Peace, John. P.S., Nina was asking about you last week when we talked.
For anyone curious: "Masala chhole" is another way of referring to chickpea curry - masala is basically "spices" or "spiced", and chole/chhole is another term for chickpea preparations, with "chickpea" itself usually being "channa" in Northern Indian languages. Canada has a large population of Punjabi people from India, so their food is reasonably popular here, and chickpea curry is a quintessential dish. Since a lot of Indians speak English as well, they tend to not always be aware of the more common English names for culinary things -- so potato gets called aloo, fenugreek is methi, cumin is jeera, bishop's weed is ajwain, etc.
Nathan I am all for a video of you buying the Walmart, Costco meal kits and reviewing each meal for a series. I know there are similar content which have each meal. But they always seem bias and only ever really show one meal out of the entire package
Why would anyone taint and ruin their own video with "unforgettable" in the title? Draw the audience in, let them watch the video and, with the help of the unbiased channel creator, allow the audience to make up their own mind. I guess he doesn't understand that he can sway and influence his viewers. And, because of the negative title, I already don't like this MRE before I was even given the chance to watch the video. I really wish he would have not done that. I've watched this guy in the past with my Dad, and he is always so down on many of his reviews. No one else is. My Dad passed away and loved watching videos about MREs, the military, Vietnam, Gulf War and even my Dad didn't like this Nathan guy because he just, and these are my Dads own words, "he just pisses on and soils anything he reviews." Nathan, if you are reading my comment, please be unbiased and professional. Look up the world "diplomatic." and try and incorporate that mindset into your videos.
Relax, that's just what he does. He is known for not liking most of his MRE's. In fact, I saw other UA-camrs comment that Nathan is known for not liking anything he reviews. His channel would probably do a lot better iif he could stay neutral and unbiased. Steves MRE is a great channel, and he is always pretty positive and nonjudgmental about his reviews. It's StevesMRE19xx something something. Look him up.
That calorie count is extremely suspect, mostly from sugar, and minimal animal protein from the cheese spread. I bet at the most, if you ate everything down to the coffee creamer, 800 calories max. Great review though

Always just in time for a fresh cup of coffee. Good to see you again!
looks a littlle bit like the 2020 Canadian IMP menu 17 Indian Chicken I reviewed this past Sundat, it didn't have chickpeas but the flavor was spot on

Marsala is a form of wine, masala is spices...
Do you think they're worth the price, Nate? A case of 12 is 240.

VD is for Verbal Diharrea. There is nothing wrong the title.
@@victor070 That's your opinion and your opinion alone. I didn't bother watching the video, since he said the MRE was unforgettable. Why would?
If unforgettable is triggering you i would advise you not to watch any other videos on youtube or tiktok lol
@@NathansMREI’ve had girls that were “unforgettable”. Did that CB make them worthless? I still remember them so guess not
Is there some way that I can send a personal message to you ?
