I love this type of style. All the colors are soft, not completely blurred and layered. But the lashes, eyebrows are very prominent dark sharp lines that just bring the whole picture together.
I love their process, it really has to be trust cause the sketch is so rough but it comes out really good, it makes me feel less insecure abt my ugly sketches 😭😭
Not only is this an Art Asmr it's also tips about art! For Example: he used desaturated colours. he mixed yellow and blue tones in the drawing. And he adds details at the end.. So when you're doing art you NEED to be patient and trust

Even when it doesn't look as great as others it's you.. And speaking of that topic when you're using reference don't expect it to look exactly the same.. fancy tools dont make you a better artist, good artists can work with anything, ms paint, crayons, kids colouring sets... if you suck at art anyway, an ipad and procreat wont make you better, youll still suck
Tech wise, it’s a good investment because it has lasted me probably ten years without needing to replace my iPad or apple pen I don’t draw often anymore but I still use the stuff I bought years ago

@@oddity404 Please be more considerate. An ASMR video is not a Step-By-Step tutorial, it only displays their process and not the inner-thinking and structure when it comes to creating art. An ASMR video that just shows them drawing is like a speedpainting video (just slowed down) which is obviously not the same as a tutorial. It does not teach you their method and thinking of drawing, but instead just gives a glance of what their process looks like.
@@oddity404 styles are, for the most part, formed once someone knows what they are doing. For a beginner drawer, a tutorial video can help them understand the entire process (sketch, lineart, and coloring blah blah blah) so they can begin to form their own style. Also, even if someone isn't a beginner and they already have their own style, watching someone else's tutorial could help them transition to new styles or find a more efficient way of doing something. edit: though it is still up to the artist whether or not they want to make a tutorial
@@oddity404 tutorials can help someone understand basic forms and the process of drawing in a detailed manner. once an artist understands those they can utilize what theyve learned in their own art style by tweaking the things that they like or dont like. the tutorial may not be specific to a persons style but it helps some artists to develop it, especially for begginer artists :))

Honestly, I’m not sure but it looks like they’re using a watercolour brush in the first art to colour and using a airbrush(?) smudge tool
