They’re meant to be played with. So instead of wrapping & storing them, build a layout so you & whoever else close to you can enjoy them- day after day.
It took me 40 years to accumulate what it took you a day or two to find. Congratulations. I would gladly purchase the blue and yellow Santa Fe locomotive pair.
Paul first off, Thank You! I definitely got Lucky coming across this lot! It took me years to find a collection of this stature. Mind you this is just one collection of many (both small & large) I’ve been buying over time. I’ve had a fairly large collection in nice shape for a long time now, all of which I’ve built My Railroad Empire with. As far as the 204’s, they’re (& ALL other items!) are part of My Personal Collection- & NFS. I have had one powered unit for years in somewhat decent shape, & now w/ this other AA set I can make myself an AAA lash up w/ a 204P, 204T, & my original 204P. So stay tuned for that at some point, & You can admire them from afar… 😉
Think of all those kids from at least 3 decades that had fun with this stuff. After all, they are toys from another era. It is amazing to see the breadth of Lionel’s production over the years.😊
Very nice. Definitely a great way to build your collection. How do you come up with a price when it's hard to see all that is in a collection. I bought a collection recently and you definitely don't want to pay too much. I think I got a good deal with mine. Thanks for sharing such a nice collection.
Thank You Nathan! Coming up w/ a price is between the buyer & the seller, & whatever might be agreeable for both parties. If it’s a good transaction, in the end everyone will be happy.
Ken, I somehow just accidentally deleted your last comment. Wanted you to know it was only an accident. Sorry about that, Sir! And Thank You for the “Good Job”!
This is a wonderful collection of trains.

I live in fear ! This grampa has recently started to amass a collection, I see no end in sight, gonna clean em, wrappem, and store em ! I love it !

You know it’s going to be a big collection when it’s too big for the house and ends up in a storage unit!
:)

How much did I steal it for?
I’m not sure I understand your question.
