Over the last few months, the banding method has become my favorite way to stretch my short natural hair without heat. I also use this method to stretch my wash and goes and twist outs.

Which method do you use to stretch your hair?
I rarely stretch my hair but if I do I'll blow-dry my hair. I'll definitely try this in the future instead

This is how I grew my hair I wear it as a protective style since 2017 when I first big chopped to natural ! I used rubberbands for a long time but now I use yarn to wrap my ends it keeps me from having to trim them. I love it! I’m mid back length now! 🎉

I'm always scared of using rubber bands In my hair but rubbing it in oil first looks like it would help a lot against tension and breakage. Loved the results 😍😍😍 Would have never thought that you didn't blow dry your hair.
MzDami really?! What do you use in the baby’s hair? I’ve always used rubber bands (even on my sisters hair) and never had an issue. No breakage, no tension, or tugging.

How often can you use the banding method without breakage?
Hi, u mentioned that your hair was already moisturized before u added the leave in conditioner? What did u moisturize it with?
HI 👋🏽 It had a lot of moisture from the deep conditioner. I had just rinsed out my deep conditioner before I started filming. 😊

Hello, if I stretch the hair and then braid it for a “braid out fro” will it shrink again?
