I remember these, they even look better up close than on any videos but now I would choose more modern car for the bucks;)

Hey Tony, i think the dry sump main advantage is to lower the center of garvitiy they do have it now on the new SLS AMG for that reason also.
BTW the one in miami vice wasnt red either :)

@lefty1999 the dry sump is to keep oil pressure under hard cornering. wet sump systems can run out of oil when the oil is moving away from mthe pump pickup.

If those are the original tires they should be replace. I guarantee the side walls will be cracked due to age. Tires have a life span for a certain number of years and after and the different environments will cause cracking. Any manufacture will advise you to put new tires on that car.

He was talking about how the car had low mileage and it had the original set of Goodyear tires. I take it the tires to be original to the car.

@opethmike i know that tamapalagi, i was (like tony) talking about it from the position point of view (not the function) which comes from racing at oval tracks for example

Yes and no. Yes, it's a 180* flat 12, and not a true Boxer, but essentially calling him ignorant of his engines opens up a can of worms- The 365 GT/4BB, 512BB and 512BBi's were called Berlinetta BOXERS by the factory- do they also not know what they are talking about?

@democratichypocrit this is true. but most establishments will allow a refusal if car is not as described. most reputable dealers/sellers will anyways. bought a 2002 mercedes s500 on ebay in 2005. had a written right of refusal upon delivery, if not as described.

Always amuses me to hear Americans get all excited about build quality that we in europe take for granted, just shows the appalling shite that American cars are.

@democratichypocrit They obviously don't have Ferrari techs on staff....so yeah I think its needless to say you get whatever they bought....typically older/ bear cars. Flemmings has a bunch of quality cars but I would suspect most of them are gonna be beat up as they don't seem to restore, just kind of broker/ flip cars. I do love the collection and I would buy one, but I know I'd be getting a project if I bought an older car from him.

... As your knee hits the shifter.
... As your head hits the roof.
... As your legs touch the steering wheel.
... As your elbow smashes against the center console.
    Yeah man, looks real roomy.
