Spoiler rant: More than four hours in and Jiang Lan is simultaneously the most boring character in the story and also (likely unintentionally by the author) an asshole who hides her game-changing and immediately important buffs from the guild who took her in. This is despite the fact that word would spread that her cooking has extra abilities, so there's no reason for her to hide it other than being a shitty person. Unless of course, the author continues with the premise that no one who eats her cooking EVER tells anyone else in the guild about the food's buffs for reasons the author will likely never explain. Also did the author seriously give her the ability to see the future in the first two hours at level 1 cooking and yet the guild members who know about it aren't abusing this cheat power before the desperate, short-staffed battle of a raid boss with guaranteed pvp? This is bad writing on top of an uninspired setting. I'm done.
Horrible world. 24:00 giving up.
