Meet these two dynamic footballer from Nagaland.
Kivi Zhimomi is an Indian professional footballer who has played as a forward for Churchill Brothers, Gokulam Kerala, TRAU NorthEast United and many others. Kivi Zhimomi came into the limelight when he scored two match-winning goals for Gokulam FC against East Bengal and Shillong Lajong in Hero I-League 2017-18. The swift striker, who is adept at playing on the wings or as a central midfielder, was snapped up by NorthEast United ahead of the 2018-19 season, thus making him the first Nagaland player to represent a Hero ISL side.
In 2017, he became the first Naga player to play in I-League. In 2018, he became the first Naga player to play in Indian Super League.
James Kithan is an Indian professional footballer who has played as a goalkeeper for Churchill brothers, Peerless sports club , Mohammedan, Viva Chennai, Kohima Komets and many more. He played his ILeague debut in 2017.
Achievement - National Northeast Games and sports football Champions (Nagaland team) (2016)
Calcutta football league champions with Peerless sports club (2019)
ILeague Hero of the match (2017-18) & (2019-20)

Kivi kinda hesitated about his education qualification at the beginning but just wanted to tell him or anyone out there,
You don't need to feel shy about your education qualification, schooling is not for everyone, find what you are passionate about and focus on that, you will achieve and you will succeed.
Success is not about how much degree we earn or it's not about finding a government job but doing what you love and excelling in that field.

We Nagas should learn from this interview how to appreciate our own people. It's so sad to see Nagas so phutani, though eku bi nai aru, sorom ase ho. Nagas are good in pulling down one another and making fun at each other, that is why we don't grow and develop. It's high time we change our attitude. Even in football also tribes problem, clans problem during tournament.
