ABOUT SUPERSTORE
America Ferrera and Ben Feldman star in the hilarious workplace comedy "Superstore," about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore. "Superstore" centers around Amy (Ferrera), who recently was promoted to be the store manager and is the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn't have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett (Colton Dunn), the sweet and clueless Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom), and the perpetually dismissed Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi). Also on the team are Glenn (Mark McKinney), who stepped down as manager in an attempt to have more family time, and Dina (Lauren Ash), the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist. Mateo (Nico Santos) was also part of the team, most recently as the self-promoted floor supervisor, until being detained due to his undocumented status.

Such a great thing for a sitcom to have (not)
All that happens is they share a ‘woke’ opinion as a group and then are dismissive of the other opinion.
It’s just really bad writing, completely unrealistic and you always know what’s going to be said.

@@Celeste-hl1kw it’s not cope it’s the truth. The show wasn’t successful as a sitcom and these break room scenes were always political. It’s just how tv works no one wants to watch a politically biased show

The MLK, Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela joke is probably the most brilliantly subtle on the whole show. The way Garrett looks around to see if anyone caught the 'mistake' just drives it home.

I like to think that some of the chemistry we see happening is just the actors riffing and really getting into it because they look like they’re having a lot of fun
Lauren Ash (who plays Dina) said a decent amount was improv! In the first season she improvised a line about her dad abandoning her when she was little and it made it into the show, and then in season 4 or 5 her deadbeat dad visits her.
For some reason, Kelly’s facial expressions during the health plan discussion absolutely kill me
Can we talk about how they just ignored Sandra's sexual harassment/stalking/she almost definitely would've been killed if he didn't die? They got lucky but if Sal didn't die from being a creep then someone else would have?

When I started watching the show I used to hate him, but ended up thinking he was one of the funniest characters. The same happened with Cam in Modern Family.
