It went from uninspirational at best , to a veritable cess pit that it is today. Best move i ever made , leaving Swindon. Rip

worked there for over 30 years late 70s to 2015 what a change now reflects swindon and uk decline.all i liked is mostly gone o well lol

This is where I grew up. Worked at Square D. Spent Saturday browsing in Brunel News. Regular (and eventual DJ) at the Brunel Rooms.
I moved away in 1986 and still return to visit my mum. I'd sad that a town halfway between the expensive Bath and Oxford is so run down.

I moved to Swindon in 1976 aged 8.It was a great place to live but now it's a shit hole.All the local pubs have been shut down along with all the sports and leisure facilities.A nice trip down memory lane,they were the days.
