Demoing right now. I love this thing. I don't know why so many people are comparing the price to plug-ins with half the amount of control. Yes, it's expensive, but don't compare it to a plug-in with two knobs, lol.
Waves Trans-X has/had almost the same amount of controls but it was (and still is) much cheaper. Trans-X was released many years earlier than Envolution.
Worked great on a glockenspiel part. Brought down the massive transient, which brought out the natural sustain. Much more natural sounding in the mix.
nice. there's definitely other ways to get the same job done, but the way this plugin puts it all right there with easy controls is nice.
Which one is better this one or the elysia nvelope?
the license politics from sonnox over the iLok cloud (can use it only on one pc) is a minus point for me.
How much CPU does it eat??
Why not do it with a compressor and/or gate ?
Awesome plugin, but way too expensive by todays standards
I think it's too expensive for a transient designer (Native - £170 at the moment). The additional features does not justify the cost for me.
Don't worry, it will eventually drop in price like practically all products (both software and hardware) do.
@@TheWorldTeacher It did, indeed :) 6 years later though.
Fantastic plugin but I will not buy it because of that f... iLok
Hi Kirk, what do you not like about iLok? - DAN
Looks great, but that price! 😱

Too much focus on the visual side. Distracting, unnecessary.
+TranceElevation I think the popularity of FabFilter plugins may have caused that.
+TranceElevation The display can be paused by clicking on it - DAN
+İlter Kalkancı FabFilter plugins have more to them than a nice GUI
+John Doe That's irrelevant to my comment.
