Thank you for making this. I'm not part of the LARP community but I am a mixed race person who has grown up in a monocultural country. I've been experiencing a bit of an identity crisis recently and you've perfectly articulated some of the feelings of rejection and inner conflict that I've been feeling. Thank you sharing your thoughts, they have definitely helped me in my own personal journey.

Hi! Thank you so much for sitting down and making this video. Thanks for being honest about your experiences, for being vulnerable and for not being afraid to share.
I am incredibly happy to have discovered your channel. I was looking for VtM LARP content and I found your videos about The Night in Question. I was overjoyed to see a woman like you share something she's passionate about and something I'm really interested in trying someday :)
I'm a Black woman born and raised (and still living) in France. My parents are both from a sub Saharian country. I've always been into storytelling and I've been playing TTRPGs with a really cool association in my hometown. There, I always feel accepted , included and safe. I'm pretty used to being the only person of color in most of the spaces I frequent and I'm lucky enough to not experience much racism.
I have siblings who have mixed children and I cannot imagine what life is like for them.
This video reminded me of that. How when you're multi racial, multi cultural, sometimes you feel like you don't really belong...
I'm really sorry you experienced racism from both white and non white people! I wish everyone would just get along and enjoy life and share cool experiences, damn it!
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you once again for using your voice, for sharing your passion and for being as visible as you are.
    Your voice matters! You matter!
Never let anyone make you think otherwise!

The LARP community does have several issues that need to be solved once and for all - it's long overdue. You are heard, valid, and always welcome in my space. You need not to justify yourself for being you. Ever. It saddens me not to see many POC LARPers in our spaces because they feel like they don't belong. To LARP by your side would be an honour!

I've seen first hand the struggles you've gone through trying to make this community a better and safer place. And I am so proud of you for being able to open up and share this extremely difficult and personal subject. Love ya bestie. 💙

I just want to applaud you for being so vocally vulnerable and sharing your perspective. This is certainly a conversation that has been growing and is needed to be had in the larp space.

Very happy I saved this so you could have my full attention. This void listened and I see you. I love playing pretend with you.

I admire the way you shed light to the harder topics and start the conversations that need to be had. I'm sorry you have had to carry the burden often alone to make these games a better place. Lets hope games continue to make better deliberate choices.

And not in a condescending way. I'm mixed white and black, raised by my black mother but primarily was around my white family. It was suffocating. It choked the life out of me.

Thank you so much for your vulnerability and important perspective on this difficult topic. Definitely a topic needed for discussion not just for LARP, but for every space in general as well. Thank you for your time and for sharing.

I'm one of those white queer LARPers you're calling in at points in this video, and we (both collectively and me as an individual) benefit from hearing this. We often say: none of us is free until we are all free. But we haven't lived in your skin, and the only way we can support you is if we stop and actually listen to you, which is all to easy not to do.
Thank you for making this video. I hope more of the people who need to see it will.

Thank you so much for sharing your struggles! I have been in tabletop for 35 years and am preparing to start getting into LARP with my kids and my girlfriend who is from Kenya and has no experience with gaming at all. I want to ensure that everyone has their chance to shine and pursue the stories that speak to them, so I will definitely be taking input from every player without bias. You go girl!
