LT running for a TD with Rivers and Gates. WHILE John Madden calling the game. Right in the childhood . I’m not crying it’s just the onions .
This low key made me tear up with the nostalgia too.
Doug Flutie too lol
Classic football
Absolutely 😢
No onions, I'm in tears. LT was electric!
This made me feel like a kid again
I think prime LT is my favorite player ever. That season when he scored 28 rushing TD + 3 receiving TD was one of the most unreal seasons I ever seen
@Cal L you right
2006 was my fav year! Still baffling that they didn’t win it
That year was the greatest fantasy team I ever had:
RB 1 - L. Tomlinson 1800 yd 28 td
RB 2 - L. Johnson 1800 yd 17 td
Flex RB - S. Jackson 1500 yd 13 td
The league hated me...
Yep, I watched every Bolts game I could that year, it seemed everytime he touched the ball he would score it
He also had 2 passing touchdowns that season!
Lt in his prime was the most dominant running back I have ever seen.
He had 2 good seasons.
@@uglyhobo4602 hater
@@uglyhobo4602 he had 3 2000+ all purpose yard seasons and ran for more than 1110 yards and 10 tds in his first 8 years. That is dominant
@@uglyhobo4602 must be a raiders fan 😂😂😂
@@uglyhobo4602 acting like you were born in 2012
One of the best that ever did it.
man LT can definitely argue he was the best in his prime.
Correction, THE best that ever did it
The best to
Sanders may have been the most purely athletic but LT had the ideal combination of similar agility and elusiveness but mixed with blinding fast acceleration and that vision and nose for the paint once they got into the Red Zone. I genuinely think he's the GOAT, I guess Payton would be in this discussion too. LT has the best fake step juke of all time I've said it forever and proof right here - 6:37
Top 5 no doubt
What a tremendous player. A Legend. The speed, the vision, the juke moves, the tenacity, the patience, the power. One of the greatest running backs in the NFL. San Diego Chargers ⚡
People forget how dynamic LT was in his prime
day 3 of getting famous off of comments..
current sub count: 890
goal: 1,000 ❤
p.s i am not a bot I just really need help 🔥 if not than that's fine.. have a great rest of your day! 💯
@@aydenconner7 I wouldn’t call 1000 “famous”
@@Kingkam_77 famous to 1000 people is better than nothing to be fair
@@scottnomore9489 I suppose so
I certainly don't lol he definitely could change a game pretty quick. When i would play Madden I would pick chargers just for LT lol
smartest runner of all time. Extremely accurate angles and running paths that were hard to cut off.
great vision and elusiveness.
Honestly one of the best non qb players to throw the ball. Dude was throwing dimes on the run
Every couple years I have to come back to behold the greatness of my favorite running back of all time and what he did for my San Diego Chargers. What a great time to be a Chargers fan. Thank you LT.
Justin Tuck running stride for stride with LT at 1:10 is pretty stunning
All giants fans love Tuck man was superb
Tuck had the angle but still impressive
I caught that too. loll Tuck can move .
The block by Lorenzo Neal on that same play was football at its best.
LT had the 00’s on lock even with Priest Holmes, Shaun Alexander, Larry Johnson, Ricky Williams & Ahman Green having historic years
That’s a lot of good running backs; LT was just different level.
Facts. His production is heavily overlooked bc of how sorry the chargers were for half his time there. But dude is easily the best rb of the century so far. AP is a strong second but he never did what LT did lmao.
You could literally name more great backs in 00's Deuce McAllister Jamal Lewis and more but I think LT still had a better running back career than all of them lol
Him and Ap
That one year alexander had was unreal
It was so beautiful to watch Lorenzo Neal just plow the way for LT good times
Even more beautiful when he was plowing way for alstott in a 2fb system in Tampa lmao
lorenzo blocked for so many great backs. by far the best FB of all time, without question. Lt was one of a kind, my childhood favorite rb. I felt like a kid watching this
LT was incredible, but how about Fullback Lorenzo Neal? That man lead a few running backs to 1,000+ rushing seasons! The work he did for Eddie George and LT was simply amazing!
Dang, that's a great mention! 2 time All-Pro.
Lorenzo Neal was a monster man. Best fullback to do it along with Alstott.
LT was a monster in his day, I put him on my Rushmore of greatest RB ever
One of my favorite Running Backs ever LT
Him and Barry sanders are my top favorites
@@bruh9954 nice
I agree dude was so explosive. I never got to witness him but the best running back I got in my experience of watching football was Peterson who was also very exciting to watch and one of my favorite players. I will admit Tomlinson was a beast.
When your favorite rb is a Left Tackle
Haven't watched yet but LT is one of my all time favorite players and I was going to say, this better have his passes...and right off the bat, one of his passes, I'm satisfied
As a lifelong bears fan I always admired and respect to this awesome athlete
LT reminds me of Sweetness.
@@toemblem pretty sure Lt said sweetness was his favorite player growing up an model his game after him
My favorite player of all time. In that one season when he seemed unstoppable in 2006 is when I became a life long fan. I was only 11 years old and he was like a legitimate super hero to me. I used to call him Eyeshield 21 (after the anime) and he just seemed so cool and invincible to me. I wanted to be just like him.
He was my hero too. Having never met him, there's a saying " never meet your heroes" implying that they will let you down but I think LT is truly the exception. Seems like a good dude with big heart.
He broke huge runs every game when he was in his prime for those few years in SD. Amazing RB, one of the all time greats and a great guy off the field too
Once he got into open field it was 30 yards+ every time. man was a legend
He was so good that even his 2nd and 3rd string went on to have great careers 📠💯
Michael Turner and Darren Sproles right?
@@Ninjafossils yes.. although I don’t know what LT has to do with them having good careers
@@The__Nation Basically saying that that team was stacked at the position with stars and he outshone them.
Sproles/LT combo for 2009 is probably the best RB Duo I’ve ever seen
My favorite player of all time, and the one who drew me to football. Man was the best at running, blocking, passing, catching, scoring, staying healthy, and JUKES & STIFF ARMS. Love watching him play
Love your videos🔥
@@jamariblane1040 Thank you! Appreciate ya man, funny you noticed me in an LT comment section, big ups to you 👊
@@ImaginaryNate np yea man I’m going to be a rb next year and walk on and your videos help me study my favorite player even more lol
LT was just different. He had such a graceful play style. It was less like running, and more like skiing downhill. It’s hard to describe.
Finally a LT compilation that includes the play against the pats (#6) on this list. SD fans were blessed to witness such greatness.
Broncos fan here with nothin but love and respect man, one of the best ive ever seen do it
Absolute TD machine. Bittersweet to remember how good of a team we had is San Diego back then always squandering it in the postseason.
My favorite RB of all time man he was a legend of the game
9:26 You love to see that hustle from 85!!!
Eric Parker. Solid slot WR for several years.
Man he was soo much fun to watch!! Thanks for the video! Brings back memories!
Man, some of these plays brought happy tears to my eyes. I remember watching some of those plays live. My favorite all time RB.
I hate that my man retired without a ring.
Lots of LoNeal beatdowns in this video.
LT was one of my favorite running back in the 2000s
He’s literally the reason how I became a Chargers fan. It’s been tough without him ngl.
"LITERALLY" though‽
@@biggalaxy9102 sure, literally.
I would wait all week to watch LaDainian play. My favorite player for sure!
the reason i love football. thanks for being so great LT
Grateful that I grew up in San Diego and got to watch this dude ball out every Sunday. One of the best to ever do it
I remember the 03-04 season watching teams stack 9-11 players in the box and LT still just punishing them. He caught 100 passes and ran for over 1k on a 4-12 team that year. I wouldn’t accept anything less than top 3 RB of all time in the sport
I'd say Payton Sanders an LT top 3 I'm cool with that
That 2003 season Tomlinson has was unreal first RB in history to catch 100 ..he had 1,600+ rushing yards 100 rec 700+ rec yards and didn't even make the pro bowl that year
I remember being in elementary school going into middle school watching him play still my favorite offensive player til this day
Loved watching him play
Not only a superb runner but an amazing receiver as well!!
Great video. Miss hearing "San Diego Chargers" on tv.. the local SD radio commentators..those navy blue and yellow unis..LT Killin it..brought back the good old days
Had one of the greatest MVP seasons ever in ‘06 #BoltUp ⚡️
⚡ ASAP
One of my best friends. Simply amazing, I was living my dreams vicariously through him and I'm still dreaming. Just an amazing person as well as the man he's become. Much love...
Thanks for all the Memories Lt21 Bolt up man
Love ya LT, made me love football. Happy birthday 🐐
My favorite RB ever. Loved watch him play
Yessssss amazing upload
My Favorite running back in Madden. He was Awesome!
I grew up an LT fan he the reason every kid wanted a visor back in the days. Very underrated defintly top 10 if not top 5 of all time.
#1
LT is the reason i played football as a kid. The man was my idol back then
LT was the most valuable running back probably ever. He scored so many red zone touchdowns it was amazing
LEGEND Always wanted him on Bears He was My FAVORITE RB 💪🏽🏈🔥🔥🔥
I started watching g football in 02 when Houston got a team. I’m 29. So in my time, the two best I have watched do it have been this man and Adrian Peterson. LT was my favorite player! This guy was fun to watch.
Favorite player growing up. Absolute stud
It's forever debatable who the GOAT running back is but you can't have that conversation without Tomlinson involved in it. What a truly gifted player he was, fun to watch.
One of my favorite RBs 👏🏾
I love this highlight reel ... to all the naysayers...
This is the REAL LT
LT was a beast! One of the greatest to ever play RB
In my opinion he's the 2nd best to ever play the position behind Barry Sanders!
LT had the perfect balance of agility, elusiveness, killer jumping ability with the acceleration and speed to hit home runs but a low center of gravity to sit you on your ass and one of the best stiff arms ever. GOAT 🐐 LT #21 ⚡
LaDainian Tomlinson was SUPERMAN LT #21 🦸🏾♂️ I was Bless to see him in his career. INCREDIBLE MAN 🏈 GO CHARGERS!
One of the best all around backs of all time. And from learning more about him after his career, a better person.
Agreed. San Diego was truly blessed between him and Tony Gwynn
Born in 89 and started watching football in 2002 LT is the greatest RB I've ever seen period. He did everything
Favorite running back of my lifetime loved watching him run the rock as a kid
We TCU fans are incredibly prideful about LT. Its honestly still hard to believe a talent that great wore a TCU uniform and played for us when we were a really REALLY little guy still. Thank you LT for putting TCU on the map again in the modern era!!!!!
💪💪💪
Rightfully so man. I remember reading a sports illustrated back in the day and LT catching my eye in the featured athletes section not knowing who he was but being blown away by his numbers and description of the player and type of person he was. That was prior to his last season and followed him his final year at TCU and his career in the nfl. Just an incredible talent and so fun to watch. I have him in my top three of all time.
The man that made me start watching football him and beast mode are my 2 favs and chris johnson as well love RBs
I HAVEN’T BEEN THIS EXCITED FOR A PLAYER, IN A LONG TIME, TIL’ WE GOT JUSTIN HERBERT! #PLAYOFFS
Boss Allen Derwin James
Bosa
Hands down the greatest running back of my generation, followed very closely by A.P
Chris Johnson was better
@@4bidden1at what?
@@philpanza5938 cj2k imo was better than both LT or AP
@@4bidden1 that’s your opinion, but why? Because he ran for 2k?
@@philpanza5938 acceleration, top speed, really fun on madden
Favorite player of all time. Man he is so underrated!
Bro he's 5th all time rushing in NFL history that's not underrated but I feel you ✊🏾
I used to love playing Madden and running the play that made the RB motion to the sideline and run a go route. Wasn't an LB on that game who could stop LT from getting a TD on that play lol
Very fun to watch he was
One of my favorite players of all time. Almost even made me a Charger fan as a kid living in San Diego but thank goodness in hindsight that I ended up choosing the Rams and Steven Jackson after watching them play the Chargers for some absurd reason when I was that age and stuck with them lol
Good choice. I stuck with the Chargers and we were disgraced with the way they left SD. I don't watch NFL anymore, but I do miss the game.
Favorite running back of all time and first second Jersey to own as a kid ever after Michael Vick number 1
One of the best of all time bro got that leap
One of the greatest to ever do it. And he did it for a while
9:26 amazing block
My favorite RB all time absolutely amazing
Easily the best running back I’ve ever seen. Super explosive and an amazing all around RB
LT never got the recognition for how strong he was. He was not a power back by any means by man he was a powerful runner no doubt
absolute legend
I remember being in high school and coach was hyped the next day about that’s effort talking about the Tim Dwight block
LaDainian Tomlinson is a FREAKIN legend man one of the best running running backs of all time!!💙🤍💙🤍
LT is in my Top 5 of All Time NFL running backs and NFL players just in General Legendary video NFL and Thank you and Keep it up please 🏆🐐🎯🙏❤️
That block on #43 was nasty! Reminds me of when they had waterboy blocking 🤣
Dude was a beast i loved him growing up
Totally forgot he ever played for the Jets.
What a player man. He and Brees are the reason I love the Chargers.
Favorite back of all time 💪🏿💪🏿
Watching this also reminded me how much of a beast lorenzo neal was ! And that 2006 team loaded
Too bad they didn’t win it all! When fullbacks was valued.
I like to view or look at the the 2006 Chargers as probably the best ever NFL team to not win a single playoff game, one and done is what happened to them, but the Chargers have always had a legacy of shooting themselves in the foot in the postseason.
Big 41 Lorenzo Neal!! Best blocking FB ever. Who ever was behind Neal was rushing over 1,000 yards that season. He was an absolute beast. LT even had Neal speak at his HOF enshrinement
LT 03-08 was a future HoF highlight reel. He was Barry with not quite the stop and shift but better burst and catching and could outrun 10/11 on the defense. What a RB. LT we miss watching you on Sundays in Mission Valley
Wow what a great blocking multi-pro bowl Fullback Lorenzo Neal. After Neal left, LT couldn't cut it as a singleback, yet he was a great I runningback that could catch and throw the ball so he had more value in that regard. Curiously Turner the Burner had a fraction more yards per carry than L.T. over his career but keeping L.T. was the right move, only the Chargers should have realized he needed a great blocking fullback to keep the motor going.
I love that even when he went to the Jets he still balled HARD. He was maybe my favorite RB of all time just because of his versatility and probably my Jets bias. LT and Thomas Jones were the epitome of thunder and lightning.
I'm 35 years old. LT is the most complete RB I've watched since I started following the NFL in the 90s. No weakness in his game.
My first Charger game at the Q i went to, LT threw a TD to Gates!! He was the reason like many why were Chargers fan, but it was really long before that when Junior Seau visited my elementary school in 3rd grade. Still remember his infectious smile .Was always a Charger fan before i knew it! BOLTS BABY⚡️ ⚡️
I remember in Australia one time my Dad saw a game with me at the rsl or pub and said dam that QB had a nice throw. And I soon later learned that he wasn't a QB. What an insane talent.
One of my favorites but let’s not forget how great Lorenzo Neal was too
I forgot what a menace this guy was. One of the best to ever do it.
Him and AP are the best i have ever seen
Greatest back since the turn of the century? I gotta say, YES!
Some good years when he was playing in San Diego. It seemed like every game he was breaking a long one or going airborne. His throwing arm on the run wasn't too bad either.
