How to cut fabric straight ✂️

This is my favourite way to cut woven fabric, especially linens and other less stable fabrics that can shift around when cutting. In this step-by-step tutorial, I’ll walk you through this method, which is the best way to achieve a straight and precise edge on your fabric. I also use this method to cut rectangle pattern pieces like gathered skirts, dresses with tiers and simple rectangle tops.
