“If she doesn’t sing, she’s dead any way”…..that has to be one of stupidest things I’ve ever heard. Sy was way more concerned about her money making appearances than he was her well-being.
There’s this alluring presence of Sy, especially when he calls Rachel “Sweetheart”. Yet, aside from his manipulation, I almost thought he was the killer. When he looks up and asks egotistically: “Superstars & their Boudoirs; did you see it?” There’s so much pride & facilitation for adulation it’s comical, including his short temper and indifference for proper security juxtaposed for Rachel. Last scene for Sy was unbelievably odd. Wiping blood of the academy award card, and then slowly puts it in his inner pocket, but when it keeps spreading it’s his own pride that would never be erased, even if someone gets shot. The bloodshed of Farmer for Rachel was Sy’s personal gratification. That’s why he cunningly smiles too when he sees it.
I love how Tony (the bodyguard played by Mike Starr) calls him an asshole at the end of it. Sy definitely had more of an interest in Rachel winning than any real concern for her life.

Thats not so far from the reality of the music industry. Money is all to often prioritised over the artists health. Whitney is just one such example.
Pretty realistic for a moneygrubbing agent

Should have added the scene where Sy picks up the envelope after farmer gets shot
They did
I hated Sy’s character
Lmfao when Sy picked up the envelope and it says "Sy is the Mastermind"... i kinda lost it 😂😂😂😂
Greatest Casting and acting ever aside from the Kemp's Kray's in 90' 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰
He is so gorgeous
Gary Kemp ( Spandau Ballet) is so good in his role of the Sy that we hated him.
I know this much is true.
@@tcaudiobooks737 🇬🇧😂 But all humor aside, Spandau's signature hit is almost 40 years old (1983 - 2023).💗😍🌹🎤🎵
@@cassandraespinosa2223 What a tune!
Agree, I learned just 3 years ago, that he was playing in this movie.
Possibly for publicity despite the fact the sister was in on it. Maybe Sy had suggested something
No. Despite the title of this clip and the letter, Sy had nothing to do with it.
Gary Kemp is so good in this movie as the sleazeball husband honestly regardless if he's the mastermind or not.
That ludicrous hair! 😂😂
Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet right...??
Yup..that’s him
Yeah !!
This much is true.
Yep Ronnie Kray too
Yes, the Gary Kemp ❤
What’s wrong with Tuesday brunch 😂
movies awesome
the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he exists
awesome thanks movies
Yep I remember seeing this as a kid I was 9 years old when this movie came out
It was rated R. How were you able to see it?
12 for me. Beautiful time in American culture.
It will be very hard to do a sequel without Whitney. If there is I wish Sy got redeemed and got widowed because of the death of Rachel Marron.
@rayising Me I want Normani as the leading role. She has very beautiful voice but she doesn't use often(check some X-Factor episodes).
@@oxfamrookie160 the sequel had princess Diana but she died before filming
Widowed?
@@justthisguy1948 what? really? i watched this so many times as a kid and its a classic on laserdisc, but never read there was suppose to be a sequal.
@@seyumaiayami3536 there is a making of it on UA-cam it’s pretty good
Oh Gary Kemp is beautiful 🥰🥰🥰💋💋💋
Acento Británico 😍 🏴vs acento Gringo 🇺🇲😛
Geez! I’ve watched this film several times and now I know all about Spandau Ballet I learned Gary Kemp appears here
This clip is misleading because Sy was really not the mastermind.
Beste film aller Zeiten.
SY........... REAGAN WAS SHOT. KEVIN COSTNER............ NOT ON MY SHIFT LOL
Lumatic
Kevin on your shift eh.LOL
I m on the fiction
Sy is the mastermind?
I know this much is true!
I was in NYC...
They're busted.
Robert
Schindler
He should be in the remake IMO
There's no remake.
I wondered about Sy,😵
The clip is misleading. He had nothing to do with the threats on her life.
Does anyone know where this scene was shot ?
Which one? The clip includes many scenes.
cudado al vre un frameto de la pelucula el guardespadas
I can see this
Pongan en Español
Es sobre la actuación de Gary Kemp , guitarrista compositor y fundador del grupo Británico SPANDAU BALLET 🏴😍
Sy is so freaking hot..
I know this much is true 🥰
