I’ve honestly loved that wireless mic more and more over the time I’ve used it! Really has helped to create without worrying I won’t have good sound if I step away from my camera
Great vid! At 7:20 I can say for sure that holding the mic out in front sounds WAY better than clipping it on your shirt or using the lav. Im not sure why but the lav and clipping it on your shirt sounds a bit muffled. Could it be your post processing? Or maybe you need to test of different lav mics. Keep up the great work!
I think it could be a mix or both the post editing and just the position as I think I could’ve tried testing more options because I’ve been using it for other projects and it hasn’t sounded as muffled like this one since I worked on a different position for the mic! But having it as direct as possible definitely is best! So that way you don’t have to use as much noise reduction or anything!
Do you have any videos on how to setup the sound with the mic in settings with loud backgrounds like at basketball game or something?
Hmm I’ve been keeping my camera at 9+ and then the mics at 0 and it does well in all settings for me. I also use the Adobe enhance if it ever gets where I need the dialogue to be better and not be smothered by the background. A lot of my videos recently I’ve used these mics so you can get an idea if you’d like. You’d probably see the Lav mic on my shirt to know if I used it.
Thought you were gonna actually show us how to set it up since that’s the title of the video. This is more of a “Test” video 🤦🏼♂️
Setup isn’t a walkthrough 😉 nor is it how to set it up haha sorry! But I just simply keep the synco mic at level 0 and my levels on my camera at +9 and that’s it!
