Hi Nick! Love these videos on Inkscape! I wish I had found them 2 years ago. I might be further along by now! Do you have any videos on how to use Inkscape to convert hand drawn images into vectors using Inkscape? I'd really like to be able to do that but it seems so difficult!
Absolute fair price, good content... a german "fan" will buy it soon :)
7 years later, the video information is still valid. Thank you.
I just wanted to say that I learn quite a few new things every time I watch a video from you about Inkscape. You seem to talk clearly enough that the auto-generated subtitles are mostly sane enough to follow. (I'm deaf)
Well that's good news. I didn't even know that there was an automated subtitles feature. Glad it's working out!
This is the single greatest inkskape tutorial I've seen so far. I'll be picking up your classes soon. Thank you for this one.
man you've got the best Inkscape tutorials in UA-cam !
Hey Nick, thanks so much for this tutorial. It allowed me to quickly learn what I needed to know in less than a week to finalize a logo for a friends podcast. Never would have been able to do so without your clear instructions.
This video revealed the steps I needed to create my first logo that was necessary to begin my business marketing, thankyou.
Thank you Nick! Your tutorials are clear and honest, and of course, excellent! I'm going to share this with my companions.
dude! I really appreciate your inkscape videos! without them i would be totally lost! got a new hobby thanks to you!
I love your tutorials. Found myself a new hobby
Thanks for your work Nick, i am just getting into working with Inkscape and really love your tutorials, thank you !
... and as always: Thank you for teaching!
Thanks for helping me learn Inkscape Nick, I've held off on purchasing Adobe because I can't afford it at this time in life. Inkscape has been my saving grace, and your videos have become my favorite way to learn this program.
Hi Nick, Thanks for a great tutorial from one who has recently discovered Inkscape. Thanks also for all the info about exactly how you make your excellent videos.

Hey nick can you help me with my logo design? I followed every step but the printers I sent it to says its messed up smh
Logos By Nick Really like the simplicity of Inkscape but my concern is the client in the freelancer.com always need .ai file.
It comes with .ai files
Logos By Nick You can save it to .ai?
Damn nick I cant get a response bro?
Thank you for this tutorial, I learned so much from your step by step explanations and just by following along.
Really nice tutorial with in depth instructions
Thanks a lot Nick !!!!!!
really nice tutorials, but i did find it quite difficult to follow along with the current version of inkscape, trying to find how to enable snapping where for you it was on from the get go, object menu being a drop down and not a seperate row, buncha small differences which added up, eventually got through it, but would love to see an updated tutorial!
Great tutorial, thank you so much for sharing. I didn't realise there was so much that could be done with Inkscape but you've given me the confidence to re-look at it.
Liked and subscribed, keep up the good work 😁
Thanks man! This tutorial really helped me out! :)
Thanks Nick. This really helped me get a grip on Inkscape. Still studying Adobe Illustrator CS3 off and on for years but this tutorial was beast with a logo design. I had the latest version which was different than the tutorial one, but just had to learn the location of the actions to take with latest version to match yours. Great tutorial indeed!!!!!
Love all your vids. Please keep them coming.
Thank you so much for this great tutorial, I learned a lot!

Thanks so much for your videos! I've been stumbling around Inkscape for years and you answered about 10 unanswered how-to's just in one video. I have just started using it to make custom labels and was thrilled to find out about the clone command! I will have to look into your library and see if you have any videos on labels and/or cloning. If you have a link to one - I'd love to watch one. It's your little tips that really help the most!
Thanks Brenda! I have a video that I uploaded a couple of months ago about creating patterns in Inkscape. I briefly go over the clone tool in that video.
Thank you for teaching!

Hey Nick! Thanks for all of your tutorials, I'm a big fan of it.
Please, could you make a detailed tutorial on the timelapse video of the pink panta?
Greetings from Germany
it looks so cool 0.o
I really need to download and learn using it
I'm impressed. Thx for this tutorial. 👍
I was wandering: is it possible to show 'on the fly' guidelines between objects in Inkscape, just like PowerPoint does?
Thank you so much!
thank you so much man!
How am I only discovering you now. 100% I am buying your course pack. Like holy shit, you should charge 70 or more for it!
Bravo!! Great video
Love it
Really nice!!! Thanks!!!!
Thanks for the tutorial! I did have lots of trouble with the last part though: I couldn't get any of the path tools to work, possibly because I didn't listen as attentively as I should have.. It seems I had done "Objects -> Group" instead of "Path -> Union" somewhere along the way. Well, lesson learnt!
Hi Nick, you are doing really cool tutorials, thank you for that. Can you teach or explain how to do low poly effect image? (Sorry for my English)
ohh myy god this tutorial is amazing
Thanks a lot man~~
Finish my first exercise on inkscape..

The new version of inkscape was just released and I have been playing around with it. I kind of liking it so far and I was hoping to hear your opinion on it? thank you
I plan to install version 0.92 sometime soon. I just want to wait a little while for all the bugs to be worked out.
Thanks for the video!. The bit after we add the numbers in, why do we need to do all that stuff before we group it all together?
beautiful
Nice explanation 🤗
Thanks so much for this tutorial. It's superb! Sub'd.
Thanks, welcome aboard!
I found that Tw Cen MT Condensed Normal looks pretty good for the outside lettering
Hi Nick, thank you for the tutorial. I followed all your steps, however, whenever I'm going to cut, the circle's shape becomes weird.
Thanks a lot. just need some help for the last step, cause when i cut path its rendering something else
THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH!!!!!!
Awesome videos! Where did you get your fonts file? I didn't have League gothic. I'm using standard fonts for Windows 10.
Thank 🙏💕 you nick

Hi guys, I'm trying to do everything on my drawing tablet to build up the muscle memory for it (and because it cost alot) but when it comes to vectors I keep switching back to my mouse so should i persist or is there really no benifit in using drawing tablets for this type of vector design.
Awesome,i can made my mine😊
@15:32 you turn off the "Snap to Cusp" -- I can't find it; and how do you make it appear on the top of your toolbar?
Hi Nick, Can we do the same the lesson above from 21:05 - 21:36 on Affinity Designer App?
Appreciate that in advance.
perfect eye measurement sight
Very good.
Hey Nick, i love these tutorials. Thank you so much! When I click text>put on path, my text goes inside the diameter instead of outside, and the text is reversed. If I click flip vertically, it goes to the outside, but it is still reversed. Any help?
You are AWESOME! I just downloaded the program today & within a few hrs of your various tutorials I created some cool stuff... for a beginner that is LOL Only suggestion I have (as a newbie), you do go a tad fast on some areas.
top! Very good !
For anyone at the last step on 21:25 getting a wonky coin instead of a nice cut:
Select the circle, goto Object > Flip Vertically (V) to flip the circle, then deselect, select the red diamond, select the circle, then goto Path > Cut path (P)
hope this helps : )
thank u
You mentioned you'd share the video of your toolbar set up, and I've seen it before, but I can't find it any longer
Hey man how did you get round edges on the two cut paths thing, mine are blocky, i mean straight line, not smooth like you have? Thanks a million!
Im learning so much! Thanks!
But when its not working for me the dupplicate-union-difference :( Nothing happens, the pencils still bblack :((
Please Nick, if possible how to design the packaging luxurious and attractive، Inkscape, for cardboard boxes and bags.
Thank you.
Hi Nick, i work on a mac, and have been an illustrator user for some time, but after seeing some of your vids i would like to try Inkscape. Ive managed to get it onto my mac (with some difficulty i must say) but im interested in it being dark with your icons. Is this possible? do you know how? Thanks Hay
Hi Hayley, unfortunately I don't know how to make Inkscape dark on a Mac. I don't have much experience with Macs at all. I would try Googling it or asking around at the Inkscape forum. Sorry I couldn't help further.
What OS are you using? I'm curious 'coz you're taskbar looks amazing! Thanks!
Its ubuntu with numix icon theme...
Thanks
one I hit path it does not work? any ideas?
