    For a beginner I would get a simple cornice rather than an elaborate one like this. It's rare that the modillions/dentals/ornament will line up with the dimensions of your room. However, if you buy an unadorned one you don't have to worry about about the ornament lining up correctly on your miters

    Nice job mate 👍Seen you use that Graco cordless on a few vids now. Do you think it would do the job on UPVC windows ?

    Should put a pattern on the wall. Would of help.
    Chalk line as well the you only have to measure both ends. Then you can tweak it if your doing a long runs

    I’d still have removed the wallpaper from behind it, someone in the future that wants to remove the paper might get a surprise when the cornice comes off with it too!

    Nice end result, I like that you used the cordless Graco sprayer, I gave up on that handheld unit after I killed the 3rd pump on it despite my best efforts to keep it alive after the first pump died... It's just not possible. Constantly refilling it also becomes a huge pain which I'm sure you've experienced after that whole ceiling. Quicker to start up and clean the real sprayer. If I buy a 4th pump for the Graco it'll be religated to just do the odd door here or there with less than a quart of material. Too much of a hassle imo.

    ITS CORNICE, NOT COVING !!!!

  • @1988rixy
    @1988rixy 2 роки тому

    I noticed you kept the camera away from the left hand side external of the chimney breast 🧐 was the angle wrong 🤩. Gd job either way. When you have rooms that are not square cut the lengths of coving, skirting etc a few mm longer that will then give you room to get the angle lined up on the coving etc. Just takes more filler/caulk to fill the gap behind 😉
