Just catching the tail end of the premiere I’ll have to start over to see some crawling but your truck looks real good the shortened bed and fender trim, even the paint and decals 💯
Omg I absolutely love this beast!!! Freaking amazing lcg with a hardbody all done up super nice!!! Bobb looks amazing! One of coolest builds I’ve seen for a good bit!!! Props
Awesome looks good. Need some rock sliders and a roll bar with some KC lights. Makes me want to make a scale replica of my Nissan 720, but they don't make the right year body.
Looks awesome man. Your zoku kit came with fender wells? Man that looks like a fun truck to drive. Need to build me a class 1. I've seen a few metal bumper options for that body. Are you getting full throw on the steering? Looks like you could get a little more out of it, maybe a longer servo horn would do it, or an end point adjustment. Get you a cheap soldering iron from walmart, some solder flux, and solder wire. Practice on a few scrap pieces of wire and you'll love it. It's easy to solder man. There's some good videos on it too if needed.
The fender wells cme with the hard body mount kit. For the steering, I'm not getting full throw, the horn hits the chassis at full left. I think I need to shorten the drag link and reposition the horn.
@@NTX_RC Do they sale the fender wells by themselves? I'd love to have some to fill the gap between chassis & body on mine. Yeah it took a little maneuvering to get mine worked out with that on the Zoku too. Now I'm having the same issue on a rock pirates ultra build, but about to convert it to a carbon artful dodgers groundfox v2.0 chassis so it's all good lol.
That thing is awesome! Love the scale factor, what foams are you running in the tires? Also soldiering is pretty easy, I'd recommend cutting the esc leads and then soldering the the jst to that, it's much easier than trying to solder directly to the xt60 posts. DONT FORGET THE shrink wrap lol, ask me how i know... 🍻🍻
Thanks man. The landmines in this video came with Krazy Krawler foams. I'm not totally sold on the tires, these smaller tires don't seem to perform as well as the 4.75 version.
Man that ground looks grippy.. I'm finding it brutal wherd I live. The ground is hard dark blue, smooth anx waxy to boot. Pretty frustrating. If it rains.. you might as well pack er up or stay in and build.
I am picking up this same build soon I cant wait!
@@ScaleShift05 nice, it's a fun build
Awesome build and driving 👌👌

Came out really nice. Great job bobbing the bed. When I got my C2X the mirror was gone on the second roll over. Nice crawl!

I don't think the rollbar/lights would survive lol
@@NTX_RC True. it would be era correct though.
@@LostHate I had a Nissan goleman with the nz motor I spray painted camo first truck I ever owned. Similar truck

@TheAmericanUhate not that I know of but I bet if you reach out him he'd sell you some. Heads up though, they're pretty delicate.

Really depends on the day, sometimes there's zero grip
