Tove Lo is also Swedish and has a slight accent herself. It’s very slight as you probably know many/most Swedish people speak English phenomenally, but you were calling out your own accent so I figured I’d point out that she does have one too.
Everyone has an accent, and it's not something you can relativise with words like "slight" unless there's a universal "standard" English accent. Which there isn't.

I agree with both of you! Many people don’t recognize General American English as an accent because it’s spoken so widely. Everyone can still have some «accented» words, like Sam refers to, which I would just call deviations from his General American English. Such words might come from where people grow up, their parents’ accent or popular culture. Anyways, yes, I agree that Sam’s accent is very clear and easy to understand from a non-English-speaking perspective (even when he speaks super quickly!). I think it is because he pronounces the vowels and consonants very clearly; he’s good at enunciation (which makes sense given his profession). It makes it really pleasent to listen to! (Honestly a big part of why I love watching his videos) And it really helps non-native English-speakers like you and me, who are typically most familiar with the General American English. In this accent the vowels and consonants are mostly pronounced the way Sam does it. It’s always fun to recognize accents, especially when they’re non-standard ones! But we should remember to be mindful of the prejudices we attach to specific accents, and try to challenge them. I.e. i don't know if you take suggestions or not but there's a group called loona and they have good singers in but the people you should especially look out for are chuu and haseul they're the only ones with professional training or classical training. they don't have much live stages sadly but some goods songs would be heart attack by chuu, chuu singing tears live, hi high, hula hoop, butterfly and satellite i would recommend
