Honestly, for the egg scrambler I think this would be actually better for older people that don't have that ability to whisk the eggs by hand and this is better alternative for them, because possible arthritis, or other reasons but this seems the go to for that.

yeah scrambling eggs is hard on your wrist, so it would be difficult for someone with, eg. arthritic wrists to do. Piercing and cracking an egg is a lot easier
Good point. Lots of as-seen-on-tv products originated as accessibility devices for disabled/elderly people or are at least partly marketed that way. Even things like the Snuggie are helpful for people in wheelchairs for example.
You could just use an electric whisk tho. It's cheaper and you can use it for things other than eggs

the egg scrambler is a good product for individuals that aren't physically capable of scrambling an egg on their own, but for some reason it was marketed towards people who literally don't know how to scramble an egg
Id heard that these commercials are really for the elderly or disabled, but the commercials feature able bodied people fumbling, falling, and otherwise overacting to such absurd lengths so the people who could actually benefit from the items won't feel bad
Plus sometimes it takes way longer to get it consistent with the beater or whisk. My favorite is when you have to peel it out of the stupid wires and your hands get gross while you were in the middle of the recipe.
It's not the end of the world, but it does give this product a good argument. Egg-scrambler is understandable.
Like electric can openers or mixers.
