This Also means that You Can Paint him what ever colors you want. Like a base before painting it secondly colors. Can't be why this was made though. But if I got ahold of this figure I'd absolutely repaint it.
I personally think that SH monsterarts should release Keizer Ghidorah, but it should be released like the Poster Ver. Mechagodzilla, It should be an Ultra-act x Sh monsterarts figure
I wonder why Bandai has gotten so lazy? Also, I found other English reviews for the Monster Planet figure. The paint and sculpt looks good, but the legs are really messed up. They stand really wide! I don't know if that is because the reviewer did not care or just could not fix it. I dunno. What do you think?
These really bring out the amazing sculpt. The golden coloration looks great, especially on the 4th form. Shame it took this long to get a good looking SHM Shin.
It would have been awesome to see some optional parts for the 2nd and 3rd form maquettes, such as the scrapped arms and sealed mouth for the 2nd form and the scrapped fin tail for the 3rd form.
I decided to pull the trigger and get 4th form bone boi Shin. Figured if I’m going to get Shin might as well get the best one. While much more pricier than I would’ve liked, I did want a Shin Godzilla, so for me it was worth it. I came back to rewatch this review when I was considering the purchase, & I must say I was convinced to go ahead and buy. Thanks for the great review. Much appreciated.
I have a broken SHMA Shin, so I’m just going to strip the paint off and apply a black wash, hopefully getting a similar effect - probably for cheaper, too.
I bought this version of the 4th form without even knowing lol Also Isn’t it funny that shmonsterarts have effectively released 4 slight variations of the same model. Straight up there are 4 different kamakura sans (shin godzillas), one of which was only seen for like 10 seconds at the end of the movie
Hey Steven! Right now it was JUST snowing in the UK, and even though I can't feel my fingers, nose and both sets of cheeks, I can really tell that krimbus is upon us! Which begs the question... Will you be doing some sort of special christmas episode? (Hehe, just curious) Either way, have a great krimbo Steven, and I'll see YOU . . . ...in the next video.
Great review brother!!! These look amazing!!! Way better then the original. Time to sell a kidney and hunt these down. On a side note will you be picking up,the exclusive frozen 4th form? Its a niche figure but looks really good...
Looks pretty good or at the very least pretty decent shame it took sooooo soooo long for us to get a good SHMA SHIN😔 Lol believe it or not I just watched Shin yesterday😂
Hey Steven!! Have you heard of s.h monsterarts making Godzilla 2002 from Godzilla x mechagodzilla let me know what's your thoughts about the images of it.
a beam would or set of beam would have been anice accessory, these look like they were carved out of wood and stained, very creepy voodoo doll vibes here..................
All reviews of SH Monsterarts focused on color accuracy/movie accuracy. Now all of s sudden we're all excited for recreations of incomplete figures?? Simply money grab by SH MonsterArts.
@@StevensToyReviews I understand that. That's my point. Let's talk brass tacks. 1) Shin Godzilla 2 is not being made, 2) Outside of Japan, appeal of Shin Godzilla was middling at best. Just looking at UA-cam videos and reading comments will tell you that. That said, I loved it and disappointed in Toho for deciding to go in another direction..AGAIN. 3) Shin was and is still big in Japan, which would be the only market you can make a case for this release having any appeal in. All that said, this is SH just trying to squeeze one last drop of money out of Shin before he disappears into oblivion. That could make potentially the only case for picking up this release.
>pointing out issues is complaining If you watched the review, you'd see I like these three the most out of all of Bandai's shin Godzilla figures and they're quite good. But being a dullard is easier 👀👀👀👀
The color makes it look like HR Giger personally designed this figure. I could imagine what a biomechanical godzilla would look like.
Just what i was thinking. The paint scheme reminds me very much of the Alien Isolation Xeno from Neca.
This Also means that You Can Paint him what ever colors you want. Like a base before painting it secondly colors. Can't be why this was made though. But if I got ahold of this figure I'd absolutely repaint it.
Bandai: can mess up the paint if it’s all gold!
I personally think that SH monsterarts should release Keizer Ghidorah, but it should be released like the Poster Ver. Mechagodzilla, It should be an Ultra-act x Sh monsterarts figure
+BabaWizWiz ... Why in God's name would Ultra-Act be associated?
I dont understand what would ultra act be for
...ultra-act?
Interesting how the overall paint on these guys have more detail than the originals.
Right? But even then, that's Bandai for ya.

Switch Board I heard its because they changed their manufacturing plant
Interesting.
Ah! I hoped you would review this! I don't know why I find this shin so fascinating. But it is what it is!
nj
i wish i could go back in time and buy this while it was still relatively cheap

The G store versions are absolutely beautiful. The QC is a whole lot better on these and joints are SOLID asf
this color makes them look like panfried fish, got that crispy look lol
I actually like this color better than the movie colors

He looks like the frozen version except he’s kinda *C O O K E D*
He's grill fried

So uh
Three years later
Did it work?
How much was the 4th form and where can I get it?

Good review, man! I think the extra should have been a tail jutting out of a water effect, aka the first form.
Steve: looks at shingawa Kuns torso
Skingawa kuns head falls off
Steve: *yeets his head, now anyways*
those teeth on the tail give me creeps. I'm about to get one today.
Well guess I need to sell my other Kidney for these that actually look worth it. Goodie
Would you recommend these versions more than the originals?
Just subscribed 2 days ago and I love your content

This isn't meant to be accurate to the movie.
