- I visited El Centro in Medellin to get a feel for what the real city is like, I was surpisingly surprised by how nice the locals were! I bought some items and eat some great food at the end. Overall first impressions were very good and a city id like to live in 1 day.

People in colombia is not all friendly but thumbs up to those who are friendly as compare to people in the philippines. i see the big difference now watching this medellin video...I'm glad you are in the philippines now having a friendly and welcoming surrounding from kids to older people and enjoying even day or night walking around with smile.

Medellin, Coilombia was once the center of dug cartel in the World ran by the infamous Pablo Escobar who was killed by the police in the 90's. Now its safe and a good tourist haven. Harry is really adventurous.

I think the woman who wasn't happy could be a working girl who did not want to be exposed as she might have come from another area to 'work'. When we were in Medillin we took a taxi to go to a particular place where I could buy a specific brand of coffee.
When we reached the place my companion gave the driver the fare and she went back on her phone. I saw her gave the money.
The driver then asked for our fare. We told him it was given to him. He denied it. He was a magician. He must have dropped the money on the floor when it was handed to him and quickly put it somewhere else. We just have to pay again so it won’t cause any trouble since we are in their country. From then on I had a bad taste of Colombia. So guys if you’re considering going to Colombia be extra vigilant.

Sadly there are a lot of videos on UA-cam with that content, sorry you got yelled at :(.Sadly like other places in the world Medellin has sketchy places too but I think overall Medellin is super nice and people are friendly and welcoming.

Harry I'm unsure why some Colombians are not friendly but believe me iv met some in Sydney and they are all not this nice. Unsure why. But I am sure there's many amazing Colombians. I saw 2 females shouting at you and they have no right. Too bad they are in public and anyone can be filming. So i don't get how they so hostile. But let's always look at the good over the bad. You did amazing and so much color and sunshine in the city. And The t-shirts are so beautiful wow wow wow. I loved Julian he was a nice guy my heart felt for him I would definetly buy from him and make him smile. I just felt he is kind and lovely.

“No dar papaya” is the phrase. It was pork, that what the street vendor said, I miss the “pinchos” which is what you had for lunch. You look local from Medellin + wearing a Colombian football shirt is what caused all the “happy-ending” girls to shout out at you to stop filming them, you got lucky the girls didn’t call their pimps on you, the funny part of it was that you didn’t give a chlorinated chicken about it and kept walking through hahaha like nothing happened. The paining of you, well, you look like a character from dragon balls. You are very friendly and smiley so you mix up with the Medellin people without any problems. Keep it up.

Great channel you have. I have been in Medellin since December 4th 2021. I just got my Retirement Visa approved by the Colombian Government. Medellin is a nice city but not what I thought it would be when I came here from the States. Everyone said how nice the weather is here, but for me it rains way too much for my liking. Also I am not a fan of the food here, it's too bland for my taste.
I am more into the tropical way of life/people. Here it just seems like I am living in a European city or in the States, seems to Europeanized for my taste. Medellin doesn't have that Latin flavor like other places do. i am going to travel around the coast and see if I like it better.
Medellin is a city, not a beach. 🙄

Hi Ivan, ive explained this before but i will again, if i wanted to go to a modern shopping centre i could drive 10 mins from my house at home. I go to the different parts of town/ off the beaten path because it’s different to what im used to and i enjoy it! thanks for your support
@@harryjaggardtravel Yes, I totally understand what you're saying. However, not everyone knows that those places exist in Colombia. I show people pics of modern Colombia (at first they think it's the US or Spain) and many act shocked because they think everyone in Colombia lives in a bamboo hut. Also, an upscale shopping mall in England is going to look different than it's counterpart in Colombia or Brazil. But it's your channel and you get to pick what you want the world to see...just my humble opinion. Take care...sad you had to leave Colombia so abruptly. I love your style and was wanting you to "showcase" Colombia. Adios Harry!
