It was a wonderful video. Finally got a chance of seeing Papiya and Sadi together in life. They are, along with now deceased Mita Huq and Iffat Ara, two of my most favorite Rabindrasangeet singers from Bangladesh. Suchitra-di (Mitra) told me in the 70's about them saying "Watch out for them and Kalim Sharaffi as the up and coming Rabindrasangeet singers that stick to the purity of Kaviguru's music". Alas, Mita died prematurely, and Kalim Sharaffi is gone too. We will miss them but their voices are preserved on records for us to remember them. Maybe next time I will see a program with Papiya and Iffat Ara together. That would be nice. Dr. Ajit Thakur (USA)

There are many recording's of "Purano Sab Diner Katha" by many legendary singers from West Bengal- namely Suchitra Mitra, Debabrata Biswas, Hemanta Mukhopadhyay, Dwijen Mukhopadhyay, Aditi Gupta, and others. I am sure in Bangladesh there are probably Aditi Mahasin, Lasa Ahmed Lisa, Nandita Yasmeen, and others that made recordings of this popular song. You can find them on CD's or on UA-cam.
