Love all your videos. I’ve learned a lot. 1996 Corolla 1.6 code Po125 I changed ECT sensor. Changed thermostat, coolant levels good but still getting Po125 code. Could this be O2 sensor also. Prior owner cut connector and sliced O2 sensor on sensor in front of car just after exhaust manifold. Thank you!!!
Thanks again peter! So I've gotten a couple error codes for 'Catalytic converter below efficiency', then one for 'running lean'...resets seem to keep check engine light off for a while. I was looking at how to test 02 sensors and saw someone say that at 50 or 100k they should be replaced. But they probably don't have a Toyota Corolla because things just last. My Corolla has 180k, when the code returns should I just replace the sensor or try to troubleshoot?
No it's not the same location. I worked on ny son's 1999 Corolla yesterday and it's location behind the engine. There's a video showing you where. You need 12mm socket, regular ratchet with an extension. It was hard for me since it was my first to replace an oxygen sensor. 1999 Corolla has a tight space to work on oxygen sensor.
My 2001 Corolla has the check engine light on, and my mechanic told me it has a P0152 issue. He replaced the thermostat because he said that was the reason, but the code prevails. Online is says that this is a direct tell for a faulty oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1. Is this true?
I have a Toyota Corolla 93, when I go 40 mph, it rattles and turns on the check engine light, and sometimes it goes off when it's running, and it makes a noise on the driver's side,
I keep getting engine warning light and a code that there is a problem with the cat on my Toyota corolla wagon 2000, but it passed emissions tests alright just weeks ago, I wonder if the sensor is malfunctioning.
Tony Molina. That is extremely rude. You realize that english isn't the primary language for the majority of the world and those that learn it will constantly struggle to get pronunciation as correct as the western world would like but they work very hard to learn it to give info to those who do speak it. So in my oppinion, you should think about this before you make ignorant and mean comments like that.
Great video for the blind car mechs out there 👍
Great Videos Mr Finn, a good day to you too sir, many thanks.
Love all your videos. I’ve learned a lot.

Ok, you need new piston rings. Engine consume oil
Hey, I don't burn oil and my compression is over 180 on every cylinder
Thanks, Peter. I have a 97 2.0 Carina e, also just 1 sensor. Can it be cleaned? If so, how!?
Yes
A friend's 1991 Corolla did not pass CA smog from "too high emissions." Possibly one or both O2 sensors?
sure
Thank you Peter.
Hi and many Thanks for feedback! :-) Best Regards Peter
What’s the other censor for ?? The one in the engine by the manifold
My son is using my 1999 Corolla. Would the upstream Oxygen be located in the same place as your Corolla?
Yes, please check.

Peter can you give the reference of the oxygen sensor in this vid?Thank you
Noted
Hi!! Where Is the catalizer?
Can I replace an oxygen sensor with an air fuel ratio sensor?
Yes

Hi, I recommend to replace the Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2. This usually takes care of the problem
Thanks
Would my x reg Corolla have two 02 sensors a upstream and downstream
does a bad oxygen sensor make ur engine shake?
Yes, it is possible.
Very nice videos, man!
'99 Avensis (4A-FE) gives the error code 25, you think it's a oxygen sensor problem?
+C64C Please check these: --INJECTOR FAULT(S)
--FUEL PRESSURE
--OXYGEN SENSOR
--AIRFLOW METER OR MAP SENSOR
--IGNITION
--ECU

Your engine worn out.
ok thanks you brother,😞
Hi Peter. Does this sensor have a spesific code or name to find online ? Thanks for the information.
Hi and now I recommend you to visit in Toyota dealer.
I keep getting engine warning light and a code that there is a problem with the cat on my Toyota corolla wagon 2000, but it passed emissions tests alright just weeks ago, I wonder if the sensor is malfunctioning.
+RealistReviewer You are right. And Thanks Your comment. :-)
I have corolla 1993 4afe where the oxygen sensor ?
