The most positive opinion and review of the new iPhone SE I've seen so far! Thanks Andrew for not being one of those reviewers who're not satisfied with anything that actually matters to most of the people looking for an iPhone that is simply practical and affordable! Although it is not actually 'affordable' here in India, but still worth considering for people like myself who appreciate touch ID home button and a good quality camera to click everyday experiences. I'm curious if there's any offers that would bring the cost down on this phone, as it is very close to iPhone 13 mini bundled with a lot of discounts around. It'd be great if you could shoot a comparison between the two.
You can always buy an SE case that has MagSafe. Regardless, I think the SE is a great phone. Users that get this know what they’ve wanted - high performance of a flagship with the familiar design of the iPhone 6, 7, and 8. A phone that does not hinder muscle memory. And a phone that still uses LCD, often overlooked today when LCD does not get image burned, helps contribute longer battery life, and does not cause users to get sick from pulse width modulation, which is what OLED screens do.
Good information! I’m glad Apple kept the older iPhone design in circulation. I have let my parents borrow my iPhone 12 and both of them are very used to having a home button. I have already convinced my mom to upgrade to the next iPhone SE model. I don’t know if we will go directly through AT&T or go to the local Apple store close to us.
No night vision capability. So; you can buy a magnetic case for the SE. I ordered a 2022 SE, but haven't activated it yet. I think I'm going to put this one in a case. More to grab on too 😉
I would have liked to have seen the SE3 start at 128gig instead of 64gig storage. I got the 128gig Starlight SE3. Previously I had the 64gig SE2. I upgraded because I think the added storage will increase the longevity and my usage of the phone.
I think it’s a perfect device. I’m beginning to be a more low key user. I don’t care about cameras. Never did, no one really uses them all. One camera is fine, I miss the home button. I don’t play games, I don’t use it all that much. No need for the iPhone 14 pro max. This phone is just right. This is someone who has an iPhone 12 today.
True, it's also their job as reviewers to buy and review it so even if they personally wouldn't use the SE3 it's their job to make it seem like you should use it.
@@jevonsims900 yeah which seems like a very shady practice. Because often times they give favorable reviews to products when they should be giving an honest opinion.
At first I was like "Why did they add 5G it's going to destroy the battery" then I realized Sub-6 5G is the strongest 5G that's only available in 10% of the country 😁 Most people will be on 4GLTE anyway.
Anybody have a clue why Apple servers appear to be failing, outages across the board-maps, iCloud, ect? And since iOS 15.3 it seems like mail has not been working properly, it freezes for about 1 minute before working and it’s not just my phone but it’s at least a dozen people I have spoken with are having the same problem?
@@fijiwill2237 depends on where you live. But I was actually using 3G until recently and that was good enough. Even for streaming videos and music. Seeing that my LTE is overkill 300mbps. I’m sure 5G is overkill and unnecessary. Just more marketing hype than anything. I’ll check it out then turn it off. Plus all phones still rely on 4G/LTE for phone calls anyway. At least until phones with VO5G become common 4 years from now.
Sweet. I'll be doing the same thing. Nobody needs radiation poisoning. The reason that 5G is dangerous is because the 5G towers will need to be placed every few feet in order for anyone to get A consistent signal. This is because the radio waves from 5G towers travel far less than the radio waves of previous generations of cellular technology.
The only thing I don’t like is that they added 5G, but I assume most of the harmful radiation is being broadcast from the towers into our brains and bodies anyway, whether our phones can use 5G or not. I like that this one uses the sub 6 GHz range.
you're right mark. I'm not sure if you've herd of Info wars, but they have done a lot of great reports on the dangers of 5G as well as radiation poisoning in general. Info wars is being proven right every day. I love them.
this is something better understood at the top of a building that is where you should have done this review and the phone is on the ground think about that
The display isn't *that* horrible. I'd rather pay less than *1/2* the price of a 12 or 13 yet still have a Ferrari under the hood. The value for money with the SE 3 is *tremendous* !!!

Feeling Same here 😊❤
Just ordered one today 🙂 My first ever iPhone 😃 in red
It's a nice red. Not as bright as a previous generation. It's richer in colour

I have SE 2020 and I’m happy with that
Is Battery 🔋 really irritating! or we can do with it?
The iPhone SE 3 is a really good value for an iPhone 📱
I got this because I wanted the cheapest iPhone that offered 256 GB of storage

The most balanced review of the iPhone SE🔥🔥

Then it would be more expensive. I’m glad they did 64gb
ME 2 I got the Starlight with 128 GB
Got a 256 yesterday
You can easily get a MagSafe adhesive sticker or case

iPhone SE out there being the most successful Spare Parts Bin. Apple knows it has to make an affordable gateway model.
The funny thing to me is all these tech reviewers tend to trash the iPhone SE 2022 yet go out and buy one lol 😂

Sub-6 is trash 5G, mmwave is the best 5G and this phone doesn’t support it.
If it supported bypass charging, then the battery issue would be solved. Game for hours through a powerbank, for example.
I still have the iPhone 5S. I’ll never get rid of it.
I have that and also have 3gs and 4s. Love them.
Is it support spatial audio with AirPod’s 3?
Yes, spatial audio is more of an iOS thing. I have an XS on iOS15 and spatial audio is there and it’s beautiful
@@alfie8645 I know XS support spatial feature but I don`t know about SE version
@@kristiarto7ers it does. The phone automatically comes with iOS15
At airports I get 5G too.

I Can't Wait To Switch From Samsung To The SE3
I got the black color is looks cool
And let’s be honest nobody needs 5G anyway. That’s not why I’ll be buying it. When I get the phone I’ll go into my settings and turn off 5G.
5G is noticeably faster tho.

No ultra wide lens..fine , ok... but Also missing is the Night mode feature… why apple ..why ? 😌

Apple: the best budget iPhone
People: what a joke
First
Why are people obsessed with being first. No one cares
It’s a shame the tiny SE3 is the only way to get a NEW non-OLED iPhone if you’re one of the 10% of users who CAN’T use OLED due to PWM 🫤
