Bro,I have so many questions, how come you're only have 3K subscribers despites making so much effort creating such a good quality content?
Second, I'm a truck driver as well and I really wanna know what kind of coffee machine are you using to prepare your coffee?
And third, what's the salary up there to the north? I'm from Spain so I usually reach up to Sweden and Denmark from time to time, most of the time I'm doing The Netherlands and Belgium.
Btw,you definitely deserve a lot more subscribers tbh.
+1 from me 🙋♂️
Good job and easy riding bro!

Probably just moving that boat to a different location but just surprising to see that they decide to do that when we got so much snow 😄
Just get on with it different all over the world

That’s so awesome bro!!!!! Great vid man 🔥
Thank u bro!!! Glad u like em!! Miss u guys! ❤️
Of some wierd reason iv’e always had to drive Vovo’s. The last was a FH 4’th generation tridem, tank (bulk). Cattle food transport. In the 80’s was Volvo the best truck to drive and live in. Scania 2 series was a disaster, wigglig all over the road, and the cab looked like quarry inside. But the Volvo FH’s is NOT steady - the are almost like the Scania 2 series. Very disappointing 😢. I’ve have only drive a couple of 2012 R560. They are steady as a rock, but the old Opticruice is what it is. Now im a busdriver and i drive the Scania Higer Touring 3x2. I like it a lot most because of the torque (450 hp) and the driving comfort. And i dont have to fight with the steeringwheel like the Volvo’s. Anyway you make damn good videos, and keep on posting. 😊 you mentioned the «hill» in Seeden…im from Norway and we kall it a bump😅. You probably know that it’s a complete different world at this side if the border. The «roads» here are a result of decades with idiot politics..😢😢
Nice to hear man! I agree with u about the volvos and scanias!
Yeah it’s like a minor bump, but called a ”mountain” in the name, that’s why 😄
Thank u so much!! 😃
Amazing quality of the videos. Keep it up brother
Thank u bro!! 😃😃
Hi Alex, I’m also a truck driver in Sweden but I’m only in my second year, and I want you to ask a tip on how to pass a truck in a double lane tight road with snow as you did at 24:35. I’m always scared to do it because of snow and ice and I end up staying behind him for km 😅. I only drive around Malmo so here is not snowing anytime soon …
Hey Andrei!
Well, I’d say make sure u have distance and time to pass, put tension on the driveaxle before u pass so u don’t start sliding and make sure there is enough room for the two of u! Also don’t go infront of the other guy just as u pass, wait a couple of seconds so u don’t throw rocks and crack his windshield 😃
@@alextidstrom ".....so u don’t throw rocks and crack his windshield". Brilliant advice! I have lost count of how many front windows I've lost exactly because of this! (Mind you, I was doing *heavy* hauling so basically a epotraktor could have overtaken me at some points....
Most people dont think of it tho
Glad I'm not the only one who eats chicken and rice haha I have mine with veg , Mayo and hot sauce.
That’s the way to go bro! 🔥😂
Learnt to drive trucks this year but I have no experience on snow yet. Always had the lines to help me keep myself in the right spot on the road. How do you do that when there is snow? Just judge it by sight? Makes me a bit nervous, both about getting too over the middle, or too far out to the side.
Well you adapt and learn, it’s mostly preference! 🙏
Härlig video Alex, fint kört. Skulle vara kul att se mer av när du backar, det gjorde du riktigt fint av det lilla man såg. Ny sub från hälsingland 👍
Tack så mycket!
Jag ska försöka ordna en sådan video inom kort! 😃
It seems to be quite ok conditons with asphalt roads there? If i randomly compare roads in this video versus roads here in Finland Tampere Tammerfors. Sometimes i've been visited in Örebro area like Nora - Gyttorp, some relatives lives there. And roads quality on my opinion is better there🇸🇪. Jättebra video och jag ska visitera här i UA-cam kanal igen när du har gjort mer video😋 Sorry bad swedish, but still greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
U are very correct roads are good here!
Thank u so much sir! 😃
Hey man, your video's/vlogs are great and interesting. Love the V8 rumbling.
Question, why are the jakebrakes in the US so loud and the shit over there..? is that the open exhaust or something?
Hey man! Thank u!
So they are called a ”retarder brake” here and work a bit different but the result is the same so I refer to it as a Jake. I am not a technitian so I don’t wanna get too deep into that stuff 😄
Nice videos bro ,Greetings from Costa Rica

Habbit, u do when u work and then go home
I'm american truck driver and im looking to work in australia or sweden. Can someone please help me out?
I have a video of how to become one on my channel here
Don't you guys put studded tires on the steering axle and on the inner tires of the drive axle?
For the ones not in the know: I am not going to insult you by explaining studded tires, but the reason we in Iceland put studded tires only on the inside pair of tires of the drive axle is the fact that snow chains rip the studs right out of the tires if you don't have the chains tightened EXACTLY right. By leaving the outer tire unstudded you can throw a chain on in a hurry and not worry about leaving the tire "bald" as it were.
One drawback with studded tires; if you go consistently over a certain speed you wear out the studs very fast. So as with everything in life, you have pros and cons. But in my mind, safety supercedes everything.
No we dont unfortunatly…
It’s good to run studs!
@@alextidstrom It does not make ANY sense to me at all not to have studded tires on the steering axleduring the winter! It's cheaper to replace a tire than retrieve the car (and the cargo) from a ditch! It is not a poke at you drivers, but safety, remember?
@HeimirTomm well nobody makes the type of money here to afford it, guess that’s what it is
He kallas vinter i Norrland.
Stämmer 😄

tar det tid att lära sig knepet när man bakar med Dolly i början?
Beror på hur snabblärd man är!
Men relativt lätt! 😃
Umeå is the shit👍
Fin stad! 😃
Awesome video again! Obviously I liked it and I subscribed. That V8 Scania have lovely sound. And man you have some brutal driving skills. I working as a Shunter (reversing trailers to the loading bay and park them up to their place for the truckers) and I'm planning to make some reversing videos. But at the moment I have nothing but my phone which is not right equipment. Do you have any advice for me? What camera should I buy as a beginner?
Thank u Daniel!
Very kind words!!
I use a gopro 9 black and a canon m50 in the last video but all the other vlogs r shot with gopro 9!
Any phone camera will do just fine as well man! 😃
@Alex Tidstrom the reason I can't use my phone, because I can position it on nothing before I do the move. But I will find out some kind of solution . I would send the video to you if you interested. I can use some good advice from a driver who is good as you.
Best way to go is using a gopro and headmount i guess! Can also get tripods for those!
Yes do that I’d watch it! 🙏

I wanna see u rip it goddamnit 😏😍
How heavy when you started?
How many standard pallets can you fit in total?
Should be around 25-30 tons depending on truck and trailer, 64 tons fully loaded! 😃
Will fit 48 pallets on the floor and x2 with the upper row
@@alextidstrom Do you know the weight by some paper that adds the pallets weights or can the truck tell you the weight you have?
I know, 64 tonne. I am from Sweden, and i really like our approach with 64, 74 and even 90 tonne since it is better economy, and better for environment.
Hur fick du jobb som CE chaufför i början när du va ny, har nyligen tagit c och CE men ingen vill anställa mig som CE chaufför på grund av att jag ej har erfarenhet

Hey is that trailer longer like those on semi truck
Yeah ! 😃
so you went back to sweden to do some truckin?
I travel a bit right now and I do work while here too! 🙂
I think you are incorrectly describing the auxilliary braking system on the truck as a Jake brake. The Jacobs engine brake is an American invention that turns the truck engine into a compressor that slows the truck down when needed. The Scania system is actually a transmission retarder and while it has the same result as the Jacobs, which is, slowing the whole unit down and will bite you just as hard if used too forcefully, it works in a completely different way. DAF use a similar system in their heavy trucks.
I to refer it as a jake brake since the result is the same. You are very welcome to explain it to the people here if you'd like ☺

What means that yellow indicator below the speedometer at 20:05?
Engine fault or check engine light so to speak, very common with scania even though there are no faults, it went away almost instant
@@alextidstrom well I meant the little orange one on the left corner below - the two little circles with a line and an "arcade" on top (sorry for the foolish description haha) I'm a beginner and I also get that indicator for couple of minutes after I attach the semitrailer to the tractor, then it disappears.
