The chunking from one off road adventure (granted, it did look more extreme than most would have done - kudos to you). This is a very good, real world review. Liked and Sub’d. Looking forward to more.
Did you balance your tires at all? I bought the same tires in a 40" on beadlocks as well. I haven't balanced yet. They're pretty smooth exect around 40-48 mph. Kinda have a weird slow wobble vibration. That's with zero balancing though. Tires this big I think balancing beads are the move
Love the channel. Great info!! I know it’s been awhile, what are your thoughts still on the Mickey Thompsons MT? I’m looking at them or the Trail Grapplers? Not sure on noise which is worse?
The beadlock wheels wouldn’t be the issue in that scenario. If you are getting vibrations outside of lower speeds it’s going to be a tire balance issue. At low speeds (5-10mph) they are a knobby tire so you should expect some vibration
Hey buddy I have the same tires on 17” wheels I’m having a hard time getting balanced I’m running 10oz balancing beeds on them. I’m curious did you take your tires to an oversized tire balancing shop the place I go to discount tires can’t fit the 40s on balancing machine
Look. The KO2s that come with the new Rubicons are fine for off roadng. It seems mud tires a re a waste. Unless you do alot of off roadng. I've had the BAJA BOSS A/T on. For two years and don't see any wear whatsoever. That's 35k miles . They handle anything and everyone thinks they are mud tires. I'm not getting muds again. Noone else makes a A/T as aggressive as these.
Baja boss AT is a great tire as well. With that said, I would run them on my truck but not on my Jeep. I don’t drive it on the road enough anymore to care about wear so I prefer the aggressive MT to hook up on the rocks better.
My 35s on my gladiator work for me. Didn't have to regear my rig and have had zero problems in the good ol' Alaskan snow and ice.
I liked the hell out of it just for you sir. Just because you asked nicely and did a really good job reviewing the tires
Thanks man, I appreciate it!

Thanks, welcome for the ride!
Great review and fantastic rig. Really unique and looks sharp!
Not just "alignment" but proper and not aged Shocks is what keeps them pressed down to prevent hopping.
Love the flat bed! Great info! Thanks!
Yes

Nice rig 😊
Beautiful keep!
Thank you!
Pretty cool color combo on that rig. I like the Orange side best! What gear ratio are you running?
Yeah, the orange side is definitely my favorite. I am on 4.10s at the moment. Kind of waiting to see what I do with the power plant before I regear.
same thing happened to my wildpeak MTs after one trip, i think that’s just the price for MTs
Very helpful!

I’ve never run trail grapplers but I still love the mickeys. I’d buy them again for sure.
Sounds great. If you don’t mind, what width are your rims? Thanks
@@bleon2368they’re 17x9” wheels
Nice rig! Who manufactures your front fenders?
Nemesis Industries
I'm on 37's and my round trip to commute to work is about 70 miles a day, I definitely won't go to 40's lol
that's one heck of a commute. I would need another daily for that lol
@@aguywithajeep I’ve got something in the works for that. Stay tuned 😈
I'm running 37s with 513 gears and do 110 mile round trip. 2008 jku rubicon
I run 37s and my Jeep is my highway vehicle! I go back and forth from AZ to MO! The mountains are and winds are the worst!
Just found your channel. Love it. I’ll bing watch it this weekend. Sub’d
I appreciate the sub. Should have a new video Sunday
What is the actual tire hight?
Nice man what do these measure while mounted on your rig?
Good video! What psi are you running on the street?
28ish
For having beadlocks, have you had any problems with them, shaking etc?
The beadlock wheels wouldn’t be the issue in that scenario. If you are getting vibrations outside of lower speeds it’s going to be a tire balance issue. At low speeds (5-10mph) they are a knobby tire so you should expect some vibration
enjoyed the video 👍🏽
Thanks!
what load range and ply are your set of these tires?
What are your new alignment numbers. Do you align yourself.
The main alignment issue I had was toe.. I set it myself originally but didn't do a great job I guess. It's at positive 0.20* now.
I have a custom Jeep Wrangler jk built by a professional on 40inch tires , can I travel in this Jeep with 40s ?
If it’s built with good parts they’ll go anywhere you want them to.
These are the dot tires right? Not sticky?
Correct. I’ve run sticky’s on the streets and that’s no fun.

Had a local shop do them the normal stick on way. Never had good luck with balance beads
What front bumper is that in the flatbed jeep?
TNT customs Guardian Frame Chop bumper
What’s your rotation pattern?
There's only 1 rotation pattern. And nobody follows it lol
What do they measure?
I believe 39.8 new unmounted
Your passenger side tires look backwards
They're all mounted correctly. The tires are directional with an "outside" and "inside" printed on the sidewalls.

@aguywithajeep fair enough.
I don't do any rock climbing , just mud and trails
If I did I'd get the muds
Nothing to do with the fact your rears are the drive tyres!! Lol
