  • I was inspired to build this prototype just because that's how my brain works. Very easy to make and dirt cheap.
If you would like to see a more in depth tutorial on building this , let me know in the comments below.
    Just a hint for carpenter's out there. It measures 16" × 32 " with a 14 " deep seat 😉 👍
Hope you enjoyed this and please like, share and subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks for watching 👍

    Seat - 2 - 1x2" @ 32"
    3- 1×4" @16

    6 1/2" on center
    Back 2- 1x2" @ 32"

I may barrow this idea from you. Yep, we could be related, not a doubt in my mind at all now. hehehe.
Love the camp chair, I really enjoy making my own gear,. When I was a kid we was broke and dad and I made a lot of our own gear, as I have gotten old, it just makes more sense to have fun. A bow, is on my short list, I think I can pull that off as well. I just need to find the perfect tree. It will happen soon as well.

      You bet man
My dad and I were the same
We built most of our gear and ready to go chuck boxes for spur of the moment trips. They were always stocked for a week or more camping
      Glad you like it

@@RiverbendlongbowsOutdoors Yes sir, we had a chuck box that was so heavy it took us both to load it, I wish I still had that thing. He probably used two sheets of 3/4" plywood to build it, it was heavy unloaded, we cooked & camped with that thing for years, I think he sold it in a garage sale when he bought his first camper. But when you said chuck box, I grinned, I haven't thought about that thing in many years.

Nice job! These are great little chairs for car camping. I recycled a pallet and made one a couple of years ago. Super easy to make and they really don't cost much either.
