This series defines the term hidden Gem for me. I feel it was awesome but I saw no reactions for it pop up hardly. But also the whole deal of how well it gets across the idea of what would make a legit block buster VRMMO. You heard the argument among the devs. Ones like max effort screw fun. The other is the clearly haried has to fix a treasure trove of issues constantly and Others try tp please the masses to much. Its like they decided fun was important in the last 5 months of dev before the Beta... so like all the plot and mechanics are impecible but they rushed the balancing landing somewhere around the level of Dark Souls except they remembered to take off perma death or something. I mean Imagine Maple trying to bumble through this game? It just would fail because that one dev is such a hard ass about impossible feats. Tho seeing how Sunraku would fare in Bofuri against Maple as her current source power level would be great.
Max 2 wins for another great review! I'm glad they seem really invested in setting up for the next season with lots of interesting story threads, because I'm really having a fun time with this one.
14:38 The lady with red hair and head wrap appears to be a CG still and in the next part of the scene everyone that's moving (apart from the MC) is CG. Though if you didn't notice then it did it's job properly.😁
Really nice conclusion for a great show. It's obvious that the author really loves his games and he can communicate that feeling quite well. Hyped for season 2, both for my own enjoyment and to see you wins video about it :D
Uh, i don't know if this real or just hoax... But i Heard the original author of shangfro is a girl... I don't know, because the webnovel (What I know) author name is KATARINA, but whatever is it, he/she is a great author, really Author who is deep into games, not like other author
The animators LOVE THE GUY TOO!!! i bet they met the Mangaka and have an enjoyful and inspiring meeting with him to put heart and soul for this animation quality

I got to say, the English dub of this show is also phantastic. You can tell the voice actors had a blast recording it. Plus the fact that sunrakus bird mask doesn't need lip syncing gave them a lot more freedom
I do think that using CGI for monsters exclusively for obscenely complex creatures but ESPECIALLY for creatures with a very glossy texture (like the bees and diamond bugs) makes sense to me. It always looks glossy, but so do bugs and diamonds. IDK, I can respect it.
11:55 as a German this is a really weird group name since it's a common first name of people rn in their 60s (i had three teachers in school with that name, the were also commonly refered to as the wolfgang). There are also Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Austrian) or Johann Wolfgang Goethe for example.
