Mathew George almost every recipe is extremely easy to cook and tastes phenomenal but here’s my list starting from most favorite: 1. 15 minute garlic shrimp udon noodles 2. 20 minute spicy dumpling noodle soup 3. 10 minute hot and sour soup 4. Crispy egg bacon & kimchi noodles 5. The spicy Thai noodle (pad mee korat ) 6. Spicy garlic shrimp spaghetti 7. Easy koren japchae noodles 8. Thai street food chicken and rice at home ( i would also recommend to watch her “how to” series in order to be prepared for these meals and amazing accompaniments. Hope you enjoy!
OMG That STEAM HACK IS EVERYTHING. I have a built in steamer with my rice cooker but I can only fit, like, 5 dumplings. Which is not NEARLY enough for a dumpling fiend like myself. I am SO using that new steam trick to make more at a time! Thanks for the trick, Marion ❤
I just found out that the store where I work (Sprouts Farmers Market in Arizona, USA) is carrying your products. I literally called out, "Marion's Kitchen"? To the cashier next to me. So excited!
I just watched the Netflix series Ugly Delicious episode about Dumplings (comparing both Asian dumplings and Italian stuffed pastas). David Chang (Momofuku) and Ali Wong (actress & comedian) go to the restaurant Marion referenced, Din Tai Fung! David mentions in the episode that he went to their location in Australia, but he and Ali go to one of the Los Angeles locations. I remember eating soup dumplings in a couple dim sum restaurants in San Francisco and they were delicious! Have a craving for dim sum now...
I've never thought about changing the soup within soup dumplings, but this sounds amazing! I've been craving dim sum for a while so this recipe came at a perfect time
i've accumulated asian ingredients during the 2020 lock down, using them right now it's 2022, I've cooked a lot of noodle dishes that you have shown over the years... I enjoyed the 2020 lock down or social distancing most call it. More power to you Marion!
omg i live in Vietnam and wanted to do soup dumplings for such a long time but kinda wasn't keen on doing the broth part from scratch. I never thought of this before. Now i can buy one bowl of Pho for a dollar and do like 50 of this cuties, so convenient ! thank you Marion
Oh this is really genius. I’ve been wanting to make pho ravioli/gyoza. I was looking for these kinds of recipes. And this is perfect. I’m thinking of using a store bought broth, adding charred ginger, charred onion, star anise, cloves, coriander seeds, black cardamom, cinnamon, cinnamon sticks, rock sugar and fish sauce. This recipe is like a perfect base for my jazzing up of things yay.
I used three of your recipes to make my parents a small, special, at home 25th anniversary dinner at the beginning of quarantine. Your recipes are always the best!! Can’t wait to make this one:)
marion you have actually read my mind ! I was just literally watching soup dumpling videos before yours uploaded! I was thinking i hope Marion had done a soup dumpling how to ! Thank you so much haha xx
Marion's Kitchen I grilled fish last night thanks to you! Just some filets though, only cooking for two! But the tomato salad that went with it was epic, so simple but so much flavor!
Finally made these, all from scratch and the came out amazing. Tip to anyone who's gonna give these a try... It's all in the wrapper dough. Don't make them too thin or they'll bleed thru. I made two batches and one came out too thin but the other batch worked just fine🥟 Thank you Marion for such a great recepie! The pho broth was definitely the star of the show🍲
These look AMAZING. I love all of your dumpling recipes! And my 4yr old little one loves to help me make them so I know he is going to be so excited to make these soon!!
YAASS agree with you embracing the fat of the meat.. legit loved watching your recipes. I have also made a few of you recipes and loved them all and yesss dumplings are next on the list :)
my fiancé and I are getting married this coming July 18th, and guaranteed with the kitchen setup I’m gonna have, I’m gonna start on some of your recipes, my in-laws will love it, being married into a Cambodian family is a moment I’m treasuring💯
Hi Marion. I hope you and your family are well especially Mama Noi!. I've learned so much from your cooking style and simple recipes and ever since I've been cooking more. Can you please tell us your essential and must- have spices to have in your kitchen? Thank you greatly!
Ever since finding your channel, I have made several of your recipes. They are always a hit, even so that I have to tell my surprised guests about your channel so they too can make your wonderful creations.
This is one of the most easiest recipe I ever seen. Like it make me confident to create one! Why do I feel like I could trust you even though this is the first time I saw your video... (fyi i have trust issue)
I love your recipes, they taste yummy and so easy to make. As this is a fusion of Vietnamese and Chinese food I think it's perfectly fine to make slurping noises. In Asia slurping is a sign of complimenting and appreciation of the meal
I don’t think I have ever seen hoisin and chili sauce served like that. Simple, obvious and ingenious. Sweet and heat in one dish. As soon as I master dumpling wrappers I’m going to make this dish.
Really? That's a total Vietnamese thing to do - especially for those whom believe it's a blasphemy to add sriracha and hoison to your pho bowl. I'm the heathen that just adds it all to my bowl because I ain't got time to dip and want a perfect bite. LOL
This is so exciting Marion - combining two of my favourite dishes! I like how you actually use hoisin and chilli sauce for dipping (for pho!) instead of Zhejiang vinegar for Xiao Lung Bao, will definitely try it this weekend! Thanks Marion! :-)
Just got my Gold box a couple of days ago!!! So excited!!! I had my first soup dumplings when I visited my daughter & son-in-law in San Jose @ Din Tai Fung. Oh my goodness were they ever good!!!
Mariana, love ALL your videos! What are your suggestions for people starting out trying to cook like you do? Is a wok necessary? if not, what would you suggest to be the next best thing? How long have you been in Thailand? Again, I really love your channel. You hit ALL the things I like to eat. You make it seem easy that a novice like me wants to dive in and give it a go. Thank you!
Just subscribed!! Excited to try these soup dumplings!! Ive tried some several times from a famous spot in Queens, in flushing N.York years & years ago by a man who made them famous there!!Im so ready to tackle this dish! Thanks for this recipe!!
These look amazing! I absolutely love pho and dumplings... this seems like the perfect match! Can't wait to try this and your other recipes (spicy pork ramen dish is on my list to make)
What if you don’t have star anise and clove and if you don’t have a cinnamon stick can you you use cinnamon powder ? Can you replace the spices for something easier or no??
I’ve always wanted to try making soup dumplings but honestly been too intimidated. But I’ve cooked several of your recipes before so it gives me confidence. I think I’ll give it my best shot! ^.^
Hi Marion, I love love love all your recipes. Especially the 'Homemade Chili Oil', 'Thai Chili Jam' ones. Can you please share a veg dumplings recipe too? Something similar to the Din Tai Fung Veggie Dumplings? Thank you!
I have cooked literally almost all your recipes during this 3 month quarantine. Can’t be happier that i came across your channel. Thank you!
Awww thank you Risha :-) I'm so happy I can help out during your quarantine too :-)

"it's gonna get a bit ugly here" as Marion slurps in the most dainty way possible and doesn't ruin her lipstick one bit

For those who are wondering, yes, she is pronouncing it correctly.
Thanks Tahn!!!
I was told by my two Filipino friends that it's pronounced FA. So it's Fur?
It's actually not
@@michelemcbee6684 why would your filipino friends know any better?
Well i mean, she has an accent. Lol but my point is most people say like FO in English when it's closer to Fuh.
Making these today! So far so good.
I am totally making this!
I've heard of Pho soup dumplings before, but yours are the first I've seen demonstrated. Thank you for sharing. :)

Looks delicious Marion
These look amazing! I absolutely love pho and dumplings... this seems like the perfect match! Can't wait to try this and your other recipes (spicy pork ramen dish is on my list to make)
Tempting to make some pho dumpling, looks delicious
Pro tip roster a yellow onion on the flame until lightly chard and add to stock, flavor enhances !
Stuck with a few cloves.
What if you don’t have star anise and clove and if you don’t have a cinnamon stick can you you use cinnamon powder ? Can you replace the spices for something easier or no??
im gonna try to make this and have this with me + plus my couch as what you usually say.😂
