Hooray! Despite being a little pessimistic when you began your day foraging for wild ginger, you achieved great results - gathering two beautiful sacks full once you started digging. It's great you were happy with the cash you received from the wholesaler. I do feel though that you deserved a little more for the 66 kg of premium variety ginger.
I say this because I happened to purchase some today and the price per kg of poor quality ginger in my local supermarket was £5.25. This means a 66 kg load would yield £346, which is equivalent to around 9M VND.
The profit margin is huge over here, although I do appreciate that the associated export duties, transport and labour costs from Vietnam to the UK would be significant too. Nonetheless, it's a good trade to be in. If only you could export directly to the UK!
Hi Cathy. It's great if I sell in the UK I will get a big amount of money, otherwise in Vietnam I sell 66 kg of ginger I only get 560 000 VND

@@hotpot2055 if you closely watch the shots , they are all static shots. I mean camera is not moving. Its on a tripod or some kind of static holder. That makes me believe that its all done by him. ( is that the case kudos to him.)
