This property is so big, I had no idea. We used to eat breakfast at the Summery Restaurant 15 years ago but we never explored the property so this was really interesting. Thanks for the tour❤

It is!
You must have filmed this a while ago. We just stayed there last week and there were some changes: the big aloha sign is now at the opposite atrium, on the beach side; in the area outside the first ABC store is an area where they installed some pool tables, air hockey, and foosball tables. There also is a guest self-parking garage that you passed by as you were talking about Starbucks on Ohua St. That garage is almost always full in the evenings and runs out parking spaces.
Waikiki is ever changing & this was filmed last month. And while we do try to film & edit as fast as possible, we are a small team providing free content. Thanks for the feedback!
What happens if you’ve payed for parking and there isn’t any?

I discovered where my walk back in 2015 ended up...I walked from the Hilton Hawaiian Village down to (at least) Fort DelRussy beach

I'm a bit confused... is this the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach or is this different?
It's different - it's the Waikiki Beach Marriott (address in description box). This one is the bigger Marriott property on Kalakaua Ave. Courtyard by Marriott is the much smaller one on Kuhio Ave.

Does this resort charge a security deposit fee for incidentals?
It depends, usually a credit card is put on-file. Reach out on the yestohawaii.com site if you need help booking (starting this month I am now able to book hotels with savings or complimentary upgrades).
can anybody just come at eat out there (sensei, etc.)?
Yep! The restaurants are open to the public.
