Nope. Honestly, as I mentioned in a previous video. I saw it with my sis and I was falling asleep during the film. My sis didn't particularly like it as well. The film was a huge success and took some chances, and that's not enough. With all honesty, did Margot robbie performance surpass other great actresses this year? This wasn't even my favorite performance of Margot robbie. Also, the oscars isn't the end all be all.

La cosa cosa scandalosa invece è che sia stato politicizzato questo film "per bambini". Ci vogliono divisi anche per sesso ora, ci vogliono vedere litigare tra noi anche oer questo 🤦.

Why is nobody going to bat for the fact that Emerald Fennel was not nominated for directing SALTBURN, or given anything for the movie? At least Gerwig and Robbie are still up for Oscars as producers. I think the media is the one who are blowing this out of proportion. If people want to get mad, they should get mad at how comedies are not appreciated like they should be at awards.
There are so many wrong this with the awards season, yet people cling to the pettiest 😭
Purtroppo viviamo in un periodo in cui se una donna viene premiata o ottiene un risultato è perche se l'è meritato, mentre se non eccelle o viene criticata è perché il patriarcato l'ha sabotata.
Impossibile ragionare con queste persone perché non c'è margine per un discorso sensato e scevro da ideologie e sindrome da vittimismo.
Ormai hanno trovato il loro capro espiatorio e nessuno le smuove dal loro pensiero.
Tra l'altro certi ragionamenti li posso ancora capire da persone comuni, ma ho visto anche certe creators che hanno studiato cinema e hanno pure "lauree" fare questi ragionamenti completamente di parte e fuori da ogni logica.
Come dicono dalle mie parti: se tutto va bene siamo consumati.
Esatto, non c'è modo di ragionarci perchè ormai si sono impuntati sulle loro motivazioni.. Almeno discutiamone e vediamo se anche il mio punto di vista puó cambiare, ma non c'è verso di parlarci

As you said, they are not popular names and it saddens me. I haven't seen "Anatomy of a Fall" yet, but I will soon.

The Oscars have sucked for a while now. A new generation of young girls are just now realizing it. As an American, the Oscars are only interesting to get recommendations for foreign language films, and that is it. The only interesting thing that has happened with the Oscars in the past decade was the slap heard around the world.
I also have the feeling that every year they desperately have to "invent" something new to keep the attention high and stop the numbers from dropping
I agree with you about this immature crap that people have started. Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig had no chance of winning anyway and plus was their work really Oscar worthy anyway NO.

Yup, wholey agree. People are too quick to ascribe things as racist, sexist or whatever. I think that the fact that most people aren't taking this criticism srsly and have this "over it" attitude is showing a shift in thinking. Or maybe its just in my bubble, who knows.

Amen to this message, everyone hyping themselves all over too hip pop culture really does need to calm their farm. Thank you for making this vid & reminding me why I refuse to watch this plastic trash & really don't even acknowledge its existence in the movie world. Oscars, Globes, Grammys, couldn't be more irrelevant to substance, style, & cinematic/artistic legacy. I'm still bent out of shape Fire Saga didn't get best picture, & Husavik (My Hometown) didn't get song of the year, & I can barely tolerate Will Ferrell on any day of the week.
