Thanks a ton, i will let everyone know that you and others are enjoying it, we have another comp this weekend super hyped with another new hard body secret build i did, i cant really do to much commentary as its not my event and i may be even taken as rude and self centered when im at these events, although i am currently trying to find out some stuff to change that and improve the videos and have some fun for people that are there, I very much love all the trucks but for sure scale trucks hold a special place in my heart that's why even my class 2 is a hardbody, sure i lose performance, to that point tho something that helps with class 1 and 2 lexan bodies when i look at them i see a class 1 as a new vehicle thats why they are shinny and stuff aka lexan and then class 2 lexans are equivalent to a fiberglass trail truck, or a tube vehicle with tin shell. if i may ask do you think it would be worth me describing what the glasses are and the difference between scale size and scale realism and examples of how what people may consider not to be scale is actually still scale just not in a class 1 mindset. lol anyways alot of this has been on my mind this week, have a great day and thanks for reaching out!
@@JT_JET :) If you want to add more explanation, my first idea would be something like subtitles or some side text. Or some voice comments when editing if it fits. I would not put in too much general information because in order to keep that level you would have to repeat a lot in different videos, so perhaps just keep it related to the specific situation we see. Like what is going on in the mind of the driver in such a situation, the difference a rule makes for the current class, or something special about the car we are seeing, for example. This way it is interesting and we could learn a few things adding up while watching more videos. ;) Thank you!

i would love to! usually falls on a work weekend and its another hour further away which makes it a 8 hour round trip, just really hard to even have the funds to achieve that let alone the time, and to be safe on the roads, we wanna go to more stuff but everyone seems to be going further and further away, hopefully in the summer some others will join us up north :D we gota make some super sick scale trails off in the old mine pits and lakes, thanks a ton for reaching out we want to go to everything but just life has limitations on us all so please don't feel as were avoiding anywhere or and only going to thunder road, were new to the hobby, community and super thankful for invites we been talking all week hopefully we make to this Sundays scale trail. thanks again and happy trucking!

That old Ford F100 is an early 50's model and it's a tamiya Midnight Pumpkin body. They made 2 version's of it. One with the monster beetle chassis. And one was a low rider street chassis like a TTO1. I couldn't tell if he had a tamiya chassis

Hello from Germany 🇩🇪. I build my own crawler ore type of from a Feiyue fy03. The electric I put in is brushless with no hand break. I‘m looking for a motor and esc that fit my car and got a hand break. Hope you can help me. 540 motor can not fit. Original motor is 390. A lot of people are telling me to get an other car but I love that thing. In my UA-cam videos you can see it running.
Do you have specific video you would like me and everyone to check out to help? I depend on honesty so I have to tell you I have not built a full crawler yet, so I personally can not help you at all I just have no idea yet. Currently Run stock trx4 sport and stock scx24 both with hardbodies but as far as electronics and gears I have never taken them apart yet, I would say some of the best info I get is from the channel RCreviews and from RC Facebook groups there are very many interested and intelligent people out there I would suggest joining some online community’s and if you have done this and they say to get a new truck then I say this, many of us are self taught and I’m sure your no different and if you wanna know something like if you can make it work then buy the stuff buy some tools starting cutting modding and building from scratch. Best of luck, I know the pains of learning out of pocket and not having money for it, I sincerely want you to complete your goals I just can’t help, I’d do more harm then good. Happy trucking! You're doing great work with these videos and adding commentary. I just with TR did a better job with their rules. They bastardize a few rules as compared to any competition for RC that's really ever been run. The Rollover rule is not how any event runs rollover period. SORRCA, WRCCA, etcs. And the DNF gate thing is not a real thing. People need winches or to drive up the side of the gate, take a gate marker and move on to the next. Your hand should only touch the truck if it's rolling it back to tires or for a repo. You don't control the rules at TR so I'm not complaining about your content. I just struggle with how they have applied some weird rules. I'm done venting.
🤙dude I totally understand and in the newest comp they did change them, but still a little goofy, I think it’s just cause it’s a business the idea is to hit the widest market from never seen a RC to lifers, by all means I hope for improvements and the only way that happens is by speaking up so thank you, I mention all the time that rules need to be more consistent and written out better but at the same time I’m sure they are busy just like the rest of us, but to know they have been tweaking them 😄 have a great day thanks for being so kind, you had great points Thanks for venting so well 😅

It's so annoying when someone is telling someone else how to drive. Especially at the end of a shitty run they say good job. Nice driving. If it was such a good job driving then why did you have to tell the driver every little move.

Thanks a ton, i will let everyone know that you and others are enjoying it, we have another comp this weekend super hyped with another new hard body secret build i did, i cant really do to much commentary as its not my event and i may be even taken as rude and self centered when im at these events, although i am currently trying to find out some stuff to change that and improve the videos and have some fun for people that are there, I very much love all the trucks but for sure scale trucks hold a special place in my heart that's why even my class 2 is a hardbody, sure i lose performance, to that point tho something that helps with class 1 and 2 lexan bodies when i look at them i see a class 1 as a new vehicle thats why they are shinny and stuff aka lexan and then class 2 lexans are equivalent to a fiberglass trail truck, or a tube vehicle with tin shell. if i may ask do you think it would be worth me describing what the glasses are and the difference between scale size and scale realism and examples of how what people may consider not to be scale is actually still scale just not in a class 1 mindset. lol anyways alot of this has been on my mind this week, have a great day and thanks for reaching out!
@@JT_JET :) If you want to add more explanation, my first idea would be something like subtitles or some side text. Or some voice comments when editing if it fits. I would not put in too much general information because in order to keep that level you would have to repeat a lot in different videos, so perhaps just keep it related to the specific situation we see. Like what is going on in the mind of the driver in such a situation, the difference a rule makes for the current class, or something special about the car we are seeing, for example. This way it is interesting and we could learn a few things adding up while watching more videos. ;) Thank you!

i would love to! usually falls on a work weekend and its another hour further away which makes it a 8 hour round trip, just really hard to even have the funds to achieve that let alone the time, and to be safe on the roads, we wanna go to more stuff but everyone seems to be going further and further away, hopefully in the summer some others will join us up north :D we gota make some super sick scale trails off in the old mine pits and lakes, thanks a ton for reaching out we want to go to everything but just life has limitations on us all so please don't feel as were avoiding anywhere or and only going to thunder road, were new to the hobby, community and super thankful for invites we been talking all week hopefully we make to this Sundays scale trail. thanks again and happy trucking!

That old Ford F100 is an early 50's model and it's a tamiya Midnight Pumpkin body. They made 2 version's of it. One with the monster beetle chassis. And one was a low rider street chassis like a TTO1. I couldn't tell if he had a tamiya chassis

I never liked SORRCA rules. Good thing there are a few better rule sets out there.
That’s the great thing about sorrca rules is that all other rule sets fall under them, at least from what I’ve seen so far which is not much 😅🤷♂️ but I love scale so full sorrca scale comp is my goal, I hope you were able to enjoy, as really the rules don’t matter the best is ganna win no matter the rules, and it’s all fun because it’s is the drivers vs the coarse more then each other 😊, thanks for watching and happy trucking!

oh for sure, this is a old video, and on the green truck it has lots of lower wheel weight to counter the body but all in all we dont care that much, im always wrenching and changing things on a budget, building is like almost more then half the fun 😅but to have something thats not the best can be so much more fun to drive, and believe it or not, i got 6th in class 2 with that horrible build 🤣😂 anyways i really hope you were able to enjoy and thanks for watching! and reaching out, happy trucking!

I depend on honesty so I have to tell you I have not built a full crawler yet, so I personally can not help you at all I just have no idea yet. Currently Run stock trx4 sport and stock scx24 both with hardbodies but as far as electronics and gears I have never taken them apart yet, I would say some of the best info I get is from the channel RCreviews and from RC Facebook groups there are very many interested and intelligent people out there I would suggest joining some online community’s and if you have done this and they say to get a new truck then I say this, many of us are self taught and I’m sure your no different and if you wanna know something like if you can make it work then buy the stuff buy some tools starting cutting modding and building from scratch. Best of luck, I know the pains of learning out of pocket and not having money for it, I sincerely want you to complete your goals I just can’t help, I’d do more harm then good. Happy trucking! Bonus gate it -10 normal gates -2 for a best score possible of -40. Person with the lowest score and time wins. None of it matters don’t stress about it, go out drive your best and see if you win. Best of luck!
You're doing great work with these videos and adding commentary. I just with TR did a better job with their rules. They bastardize a few rules as compared to any competition for RC that's really ever been run. The Rollover rule is not how any event runs rollover period. SORRCA, WRCCA, etcs. And the DNF gate thing is not a real thing. People need winches or to drive up the side of the gate, take a gate marker and move on to the next. Your hand should only touch the truck if it's rolling it back to tires or for a repo. You don't control the rules at TR so I'm not complaining about your content. I just struggle with how they have applied some weird rules. I'm done venting.
🤙dude I totally understand and in the newest comp they did change them, but still a little goofy, I think it’s just cause it’s a business the idea is to hit the widest market from never seen a RC to lifers, by all means I hope for improvements and the only way that happens is by speaking up so thank you, I mention all the time that rules need to be more consistent and written out better but at the same time I’m sure they are busy just like the rest of us, but to know they have been tweaking them 😄 have a great day thanks for being so kind, you had great points Thanks for venting so well 😅

It's so annoying when someone is telling someone else how to drive. Especially at the end of a shitty run they say good job. Nice driving. If it was such a good job driving then why did you have to tell the driver every little move.

@@INSIDIOUS-ONE 😅 very kind to stick up for people but dont stress about it, if sombody things they seen somthing fishy they may have, the competition is very relaxing and we all cheer eachother on, so if somone maybe had to big of tires well thats okay we didnt even measure them, its just for the fun of having to try and pass hard gates, sure there is a winner but there are no lossers. Sorry you don’t enjoy the competition, I don’t make the rules or judge the events just merely attend them and have fun, I hope you were able to enjoy the trucking as that’s what’s it’s all about for us, and yes it kinda is for kids as kids do play in the comps and so do some wiser people and couples people from different states, again we have a good time and hope you do to, thanks for watching and happy trucking.
wow dude, epic video, I need to edit footage and struggling with motivation, but I feel a bit more inspired now. Thanks for all the information you provide, its really helpful, stuff like including all the rules and stuff, which may not make excellent video footage but adds heaps, i never done any crawling comps so had little idea.
