Is Bandra Mumbai's Hippest District?

During my stay in Udaipur, the owner of the hostel I stayed at told me to check out a district in Mumbai called Bandra. I had not heard of it but he promised me I would enjoy it as it is home to many pieces of street art and coffee shops and he was sure I would appreciate its bohemian, hipster vibe.
It sounded right up my street so I took a train from Colaba to spend the rest of my time in the city in the hip district of Bandra.
