Thank you so much for this video!! I'm American and recently found out my maternal grandfather was born in Kilkenny. What a beautiful place and beautiful people as well. Btw, I grew up in Philadelphia in a neighborhood called Frankford. There is a street named Darragh that was named for a woman named Lydia Darragh, who was in FKD during the Revolutionary War. I won't tell you the story so you can look it up. Her story should be taught in school, especially in Philadelphia. Thanks again, and take care 🙂
These people are the rarest kind.My forefathers are from Kilkenny and one day many moons ago I went there to get the feel of the town. A feeling of enormous dread and sadness overcame me and I just had to leave where we were as quickly as I could.Watching a video in which they were chatting to a Lord Mayor and he mentioned in passing the very spot I was standing and said it was the spot of the execution of the poor child they killed as a victim to satisfy the lust of evil.Was the name Philomena by any chance? I have always been prone to feelings of joy or sadness.Kind of psychic.! My relatives were Morrissey/Cuddihey,I can no longer do the things I used due to major surgery and my lungs and ticker are failing fast.The powers in place at the time made my days an endurance due to what had been done in Kilkenny.Would love to know why before I close the door behind me. Thanks for the joy of your video.
The lad @the start with the red jacket has a BEAUTIFUL, HAPPY FACE!. In nature one of the happiest,hope inducing sights, is to see steel grey skies BROKEN by shafts of sunshine and the GLORY of a R A I N B O W.
