Great video, sorry I missed the live stream. Much travel this month. I think the Core offering will be impactful to Lumagen sales. This platform is likely to satisfy the majority of those who have been clamoring for a more cost effective solution from MadVR. That said, if I were a buyer today, I would prioritize an Extreme MK1 with 3080 processor first (if I could find one). The price difference is not that substantial. It begs the question if the Core offering will cannibalize the Pro line.
It may take away some Pro sales, but I think they are fine with that. We will see what future software feature differentiation comes with new releases.
Have you ever experienced a movie getting a "movie update"? Can you recall movies? I know that on disc, Pirates of the Caribbean or Terminator 2 are one of the worst 4k discs. Would the Kaleidescape update the film to be a better quality as they have a separate team that ensures movies look perfect?
Plenty of movies have received updates to add better audio, improve video encodings, and the like on K over my years of use. It's a key feature of the platform.
Congrats on adding JVC to your dealer profile (Had to catch the replay cause work was acting up)

Can madVR be used on an UST projector?
Hmm, I wouldn't see why not.
