I was working and missed the deadline and I had foden and son transferred in before I heard your response to put havertz in 🤦♂️ but son did alright so I’m hoping havertz blanks and makes me feel better, I kept saka in though 🤦♂️
Good morning Scott, I was listening to your live video yesterday before the deadline. I made a comment comparing Rashford and Haaland between game week 4-7. Yourself and Tony kind a laughed at the comment and thought I was stupid. I think you both missed the point that I was trying to make. Between game weeks 4-7 there were 5 players who all outscored Haaland in points and I used Rashford probably as a bad example. Saka, Johnson, Rashford, Salah and Palmer all scored more points than Haaland. If you would have captained Rashford GW4 (32) Johnson GW5 (18) Palmer GW6 (34) Saka GW7 (20). In total 104 points against Haaland 51. Having Rashford instead of Haaland gave you 5 million to spread throughout your team. What I am trying to say is. If you are creative and go against Haaland(which is scary I know). You could probably be top of the SDT. On another note I am pissed off transferring players out for them to score next match. I have done it with Kulusevski yesterday prior to that Eze, Gibbs White, Diaz plus others. Sometimes you are better off just not making any transfers at all. Rant over.
I know what you mean Phil but it's easy to look back and pick the players that did well and then say they would have been better than Haaland. In reality who was going to captain Rashford, Johnson, Palmer, Saka vs Haaland in some really nice Haaland fixtures Easy to connect the dots looking backwards. But next 5 gameweeks picking out a differential captain each week to go against Haaland might not work out so great. You could do it but each week you are massively going against the probabilities. Same thing happened with me yesterday with you and Kulu. I've taken out Rogers for his biggest Haul of the season when I thought it didn't look too bad for this week 😂 way it goes. I'd have been better off sticking too. (Unless Foden pulls out some magic)
@@DreamTeamProfessor Coming from Manchester and being a City fan. Rumour has it that Foden has had a problem with one of his children hence the few missed games etc. Going back to Haaland I did not have him for the first 3 games and it has wrecked my season so far. Brought him in and he has basically done nothing. Thank god I did not play goal boost this week. Big problem this week with Calafiori and Saka. Obviously want to keep them but injury risk. It hurts removing a player who will get a price rise. Initial thoughts Calafiori for Konsa and Saka for Bruno F. That leaves me 2.5 in the bank but still got Sels who will get a price rise. Struggling to find 2 good euro players with 2 guaranteed fixtures.
