@@jarekmairecently got a base civic coupe, just the lx. It’s been a RELALY fun car to mess around with and add my own stuff to.
I got the base sport model with a 6MT and it's very refined both inside and out, yet still very fun to drive.
If that's the same BRZ guy I'm thinking of, he drove from Maryland to the Chi with no problems, so it might be you 😂😂😂😂.

Yo the brz/gr86 are very reliable and light weight and so much easier to put v6/v8 swaps that the civic don't get me wrong I will almost be a fan boy of the civic until I got a brz they are tied now !
Very true Brz can get the v8 swap but civic also does j series swap for the v6. I think it will really depend on the drivetrain application when it comes to FWD or RWD. I respect the statement though! Always wanted an frs when I was in high school 🏫

Hondas has had a bunch of head gasket issues, and engine failures ever since they started putting turbos in most of their cars. They also have had gnarly transmission issues with their auto transmissions in a handful of their vehicles. Let’s not pretend Honda is as “reliable” as they were in the 90’s. Toyota isn’t much better these days with the turbo failures on their new tundras, or valve spring issue they had in the past on other vehicles car these days just suck for longevity, they are built using cheaper materials, engine longevity is compromised in the name of better mpg and emissions, and they are all over priced.
