Thanks Dave and welcome to my channel. Luckily I have dozens of non working radios still to go at so should keep you occupied well into the future. All the best Graham

Great videos these mate, quite inspiring. I'm gathering a collection of transistor radios myself for projects to work on and watching you is helpful. Keep up the good work.

Graham. Thanks very much for the kind feedback. There's loads more to come so keep watching and if there's anything specific you need to look at then just ask.

Valve radios are easier to fault find on than transistor radios. Please dispose of the selenium rectifier and fit a diode with a series resistor. The heater supply needs to be 1.4V DC, the valves have directly heated cathodes so the radio will come on as soon as the HT and LT are applied. G1DRP

Ian. I'm really looking forward to working on the Vidor. Hopefully I will get on it this week so keep those tips coming. Looks like I need to order more caps!

I see you have a Marconi 2955. I used to use one of those back in the late 1980s but I preferred the Schlumberger 4031.

That's a nice bit of equipment. I'm still learning how to use the Marconi but don't think it's 100%
