Hey guys, third SOTC video on the channel. In this video, I'm sharing my complete watch collection with you guys. Thank you for watching, Let's Talk Watches!
Nice collection I have the Presage in Ice Blue and it is definitely a keeper - my Orient Kamasu and Heimdallr Monster (if I recall Seiko did not make a red dial version) fills my red dial needs. As for the Hamiltons - they both look nice I personally have a Champagne dial Khaki King - love the color and day date aspect.
It still blows my mind how a person can buy a 20 Australian dollar casio and upgrades to an 18000 Rolex!!! The luxury swiss brand hype ends up by getting them or else the person doesn't feel like a real watch collector. Look at me now, I'm a big player.
It makes me a little sad to see such an ace collection full of amazing watches and brands and stuff at all price points which is all put down at the end by the belief a Rolex somehow beats the others cold and is the peak ‘jewel’. I truly think most collectors would be happier if Rolex didn’t exist. It appears to spoil their ability to see other brands for the level they are. I got impression here that if you could swap this whole collection (bar the Rado) for a few more Rolex then you would. Personally that Rolex at the end is an anomaly in your collection, given its god awful ugly in every way - gaudy and tacky. The others you have curated are beautiful, stylish, and have a story to tell. Ah well.
thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment. You got me wrong mate, I wouldn't sell any or all of these watches to get another Rolex. Not looking at getting another Rolex TBH, the next on the radar is a Grand Seiko. Cheers.
@@letstalkwatchessorry it wasn’t meant to be as negative a comment as it read. My bad. I just get a little deflated when I see these awesome well curated collections and then at the end the obligatory gaudy Rolex is introduced as the crowning jewel - like it’s the Everest of watches. Normally it’s inferior to half the other watches showcased. And certainly overpriced and over hyped by comparison. I don’t hate on Rolex - they are doing their thing and making a killing, good for them. I just despise the hypnosis they seem to have on ppl - into thinking a date just is somehow peak watch making!! The Gs you talk about is frankly better in just about every measurable metric bar hype/brand cache. Have a great holiday season and good luck with the GS hunt!
Completely agree. I was initially attracted to this video by the Monaco. The whole collection was interesting to me until the Rolex came up as the finale. Having said that, great collection of a wide variety of style at different price point. Good luck with your GS hunt.
A fantastic and diverse collection. Mine is very similar. You are spot on about the Longines Zulu Time- tremendous bang for the buck (I have the blue dial 39mm). One watch brand for your consideration: Grand Seiko. I bought the Snowflake and got to tell you it gets the most wrist time. Stunning. May even buy a high beat in 2024. GS is really is the best kept secret in watches. Have a great holiday and I just subscribed.
I really like and appreciate the variety of your collection!! It seems that you are a true watch enthusiast and not a watch snob at all!! Great watches, hope you enjoy them!!
Amazing collection my friend! Loved the Monaco. Im hoping to get my hands on the Zulu Time and the Bulova Lunar Pilot in 2024. My current favorite watch in my collection is a Junghans meister chronoscope. Happy New Year!
Congratulations and thank you for sharing your collection. Our journeys seem similar and so do our tastes. Having been collecting for around 4 years and aquiring over 230+ watches it seems a bit crazy but we live and learn. I'm in Sydney and started a social group called Oz Watch Boys where we have regular WOTD and dinner meet ups to share stories and sell to each other. I'm planning on unloading around 130 or so to get to a more manageable number but I wear them depending on outfit and circumstances. Have a great Xmas and New Year and will talk soon.
Great collection, man! My favorites are the Monaco Tag Heuer, the Rado, and the AliExpress one. My least favorite would be the Rolex, but still great. Cheers!
I like the sentimentality behind the Rado (I have a Vintage Rado family heimloom), and the functionality of the Longines Zulu .. not big on that colorway however nor the colorway and roman numerals of the Datejust - although I do like the Datejust as a model (personal taste). I love the Buliva Lunar Pilot (yeah i get that the size is divisive but it works on my 7.5 inch wrist) - although my taste would be classic black - it would also be bumped were I to get a Speedmaster. I think my favorites (as they are) are the Oris Big Crown Pointer and the Seiko Presage.
Great collection. 👍
Well rounded collection... Everything you need shown in one video 👍

Nice Collection - fair play👍🏻
Thanks for sharing, I have subscribed so am interested to see your content going forward as well as your back catalogue.
Thank you, mate.
One of the better collections out there. Lots of colour and variety. Standouts for me the Rado, Oris and curiously the Citizen.

Ya crazy don’t listen to these nuts, that Rolex is a personal accomplishment and congratulations don’t sell it ever! Best piece in your collection ‼️
@@frankv7068 Thank you, mate!
Great watches. The Rado, Longines, Seiko Presage and Oceanus are superb.
Thank you, mate.
Nice collection besides the rolex.
Great collection. Thanks for sharing. The lime green strap on the Sea-Gull is a great idea.
Cool collection. But I have questions!!!! Does it get costly servicing those watches??? And is it tiresome winding them every 2 weeks???
Nice collection. But I wonder what Archie Luxury (Paul Pluta) would think 🤔 😅

So many colours to play with. Loved the Rado, longines ❤
Nice gorgeous collection, thanks for sharing 🎉🎉
Just once it'd be nice to see a watch youtuber that didn't have one or more Rolexes. Talk about the herd.
This collection is legit. Your trippin.
Amazing collection my friend! Loved the Monaco. Im hoping to get my hands on the Zulu Time and the Bulova Lunar Pilot in 2024.
My current favorite watch in my collection is a Junghans meister chronoscope.
Happy New Year!

Thanks a lot mate. @@letstalkwatches
Great collection
Subconsciously it sounds like you want a Submariner.
Fluted Datejust rocks in a suit or dress shirt. The jewel in the crown.
Just that trio of Rolex, Tag and Omega are forever keepers 👌🏽🔥, I where you I would sell everything else except the G-Shock for the gym.
bro that seikoooo
really like the oris and the omega PO.....just curious if that is a first gen PO?
nice collection, we are pretty similar. You have some nice heavy hitters!
Great collection you have there, Each piece seems to be carefully considered. I personally dont see the rolex as your best piece.
Nice collection! Your Rolex looks just like the one Roger Federer wears
fantastic collection mate! loving these Aussie channels! i love that edifice casio watch.. that is surprisingly my fav!
Hi man! Nice collection, congrats! Hey could you share the reference number of your Red dial seiko?
Here you go mate, Seiko Sharp Edge SPB227J. You can see the full review on my channel if you're interested. Cheers.
Thank your for sharing! Do you really feel like wearing something less than Longines Zulu after Rolex and the Omega sometimes?
Thank you for watching the video. Yes, all of these watches offer value and different kind of satisfaction at their own price points.
Very nice...love the diversity in your collection.
I believe you have a great collection at this time. You can live your life with this collection and will pass to your children too. 👍🏻
Thank you, mate.
would you consider a vertex for your field watch? i got the auto khaki and i love it
I definitely would, but not in the same price range as the Khaki and I'm kind of fixated on Hamilton atm.
👍👍Good
